I don't know the exact ins-and-outs of your argument. From my perspective, there is obviously a Jailer, who jailed me when I used my ability; and I see no reason to doubt the Jailer jailed you, also. But from that I don't need to conclude the Jailer is scum. I don't know of any reason (outside of armchair speculation) why I must conclude the Jailer must be scum.

As I said before, I worried a bit that Chaqa could be a Survivor Neighbourizer, though that concern has been laid to rest; but I am still Town as far as I know. I am part of the "Neighbourhood Watch" - but it has not been indicated to me that this changed my win-condition.

Haha. This is a good turn of phrase. And I can see how it applies. In my re-read of the game, it describes damo, fox, and summit very well: they have managed to make a couple townie posts, but by and large are scummy. I don't think that applies to brainbomb, though.

there are no subs. and I dont have time or energy to keep doing this every game. I thought maybe youd finally get tired of trying to lynch me every game but nope.

The simple fact is you are hardclaiming Town Doctor, another player has counter-claimed Town Doctor, it seems unlikely that there are two identical Doctors, both town-aligned, so Mafia Theory 101 says we must lynch one of you.

Hmm... brainbomb has a habit of being illogical, but a couple of these points are very acute. You're right, Vecna, brainbomb is not paying as much attention as usual. In fact, your post is the kind of attack post I'd normally expect to see from brain, not against him.

So you think brainbomb only claimed Doctor in order to suss out the real Doctor? brainbomb is sacrificing himself in order to open the Doctor to an NK or go 1:1 with the Doctor for the lynch? Or was trying to grab towncred and make a run for the endgame? Can't the actual Doctor just protect himself, making scum lose a member for no benefit? It seems very wild.

Certainly, it could be done by brainbomb, but... it seems unnecessary. We just had three town deaths in a row? And it's looking like there's no 3P faction? Why would scum squander a solid early lead?

There was a Jailor in play N1 as well. Jailor has roleblocking power.

So Jailor and LR must be different alignments, yeah?

That's my theory. And town acts first, so LR has to be town. Or if both are scum, then LR Mafia nad Jailor 3rd party.

If Lightning Rod is in a special class and goes before all other roleblocks, as I think foodcoats indicated, there could be additional roleblock roles that are the same alignment as the Lightning Rod.
