Prado, can you see the disappointment in your parents' eyes whenever they look at you?

Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
I've never seen xorxes play, let alone as scum, and I think this is a silly metric.
Only when I'm home.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
@balki people scumread me for voting people near EoD 1 without a good reason after sitting on nolynch all day. Usually I see two big wagons and flip a coin (not literally) to pick which one to vote. To make the vote seem real I claim to have a scumread on the one I vote.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Xorx is never online before now during the day. Ike has been here and sucked.TrPrado wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 8:25 pmSo your approach to Ike is the same as my approach to xorx lmao

Actually I'm gonna ##vote teacher until he explains exactly why he wants no Lynch.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
@Ezio/Ghug - The one Webdip Mafia game I have read is game 1. Thucy makes the argument. Basically: D1 is low info and reads are shite. In a set up like this one here, we have a 24% of being right. And a 74% chance of being wrong. Worse, if we are wrong, we could either lynch or out PR who has to claim to avoid and even then might not be trusted. (this argument less important now in the late afternoon). To be sure, you lose information for day 2. But you also push off mylo and lylo, so can gain more time for play with more information.

peterlund's scum read of RagingIke was convenient after RagingIke gave him a second vote.

Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
The case on Jamie is he's a fake ass bitch.
More notably he seems to be trying to seem like he's doing a lot more than he is. He's been spreading a lot of white noise. His peter vote seems like he was just trying to find an excuse to vote for him, and that whole push has felt pretty off. He's also been seeming to peddle some sort of persona. When people claim anything about him, his response is to attempt to fight what's being said, entirely in terms of image of his own behavior for this game.
That's pretty cursory and there isn't much but it's the most solid reason to vote for anyone here I've seen.
Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Actually doesn't push off MYLO and LYLO. It just costs us a lynch (barring docsaves). No-lynch also leads to day 2 reads being as shit as day one reads. Where have you played before? What's the attitude been on no-lynch in those places?teacher2 wrote: ↑Wed May 09, 2018 8:31 pm@Ezio/Ghug - The one Webdip Mafia game I have read is game 1. Thucy makes the argument. A second vote is what tips the edge for OMGUS when he wasn't tied for top votes?

@Ghug re: Ike
Sorry Im not quoting. I actually suck at the html stuff so am slow to respond (and I can tell its annoying you, but Im going as fast as I can). IT wasnt just the oxford comma, it was the EXPLANATION for the gun question (not the gun itself), and also the question to you on defense (where I liked your answer), and the pressure on Ezio. Basically, I liked him. You all know him better than I do, and I trust in the wisdom of the mob more than my own reads alone, but to trust the mob I have to be part of it and lay out my own views.

The very sharpest knifes in our kitchen drawer: Jamiet99uk, RagingIke297, reedeer1 and bozotheclown! :)
You plan to lynch a townie under the lead of Jamie! That is hilarious really!

Re: MAFIA XXXVI: ODDJOB'S REVENGE
Post-draft addition -- I am getting very delayed loads right now.
Everywhere I play now is lynch D-1. And its almost always village. Im not sure it makes D-2 AS bad, because we get the NK flip. I also dont discount the doc save (particularly late game) as much as you do. Rarely have I seen a game without one save at some point. Basically, I view it as an option if Im not crazy about the viable wagons. Which I wasnt. But PLund I can live with.
I am playing/have recently completed two other games. Before that, my experience is 10 years old RL or PBEM.
