Also a special shoutout to Rdrivera, who has logged 38 mafia games on webdip. This surpasses ghug's previous record of 37. Xorxes has now tied ghug and is just 1 game behind Rdrivera. Jamie, Chaqa, Bo, bozo, Vecna, ND, Maniac, and brainbomb round out the 30 game club. Just a reminder of how great this mafia community is if these guys come back again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. I spent a bit of time going through and looking at the names, and there's a lot of people I miss from the old days.
The number of people left from pre-M10 or so is super low.
We need to lure Vash, meme, Maniac, Flum, HR, Balki, ghug, guak, Yoyo, uclabb and all them back.

Thanks for updating this! I will have to choose my 10th game strategically to see if I can keep my position (perhaps I need to wait for the next role madness and hope to roll town)...

having started mafia here, M15, jamiet9uk and I began the same game.
seen a ton of new faces come and go. the site used to be me just rambling and theorizing.
and now half the players top 100 posts a phase. its alot more to take in. I think mini games are great for more simulating actual mafia endgames.
but ya its been fun and ill probably poke back in a game or two. just busy af rn.

I have an interesting idea for a setup that I've been thinking about a lot after thinking a lot about setups and how to strike a good balance of maintaining scum hunting while going beyond a vanilla setup.
Put me down on the list to GM a game sometime and I'll keep tinkering with this setup. I'd sign myself up but I'm not sure how accurate our current list of future GMs is.

I wouldnt mind running a pretty heavy mechanical setup stolen from another forum at some point. It involves people picking their own powers by combining different role cards from a large pool and a mechanic that semi-randomly activates roughly 25% of all powers every day/night cycle.
