Re: Twenty Questions: Game 493
No, but I think this is also outside the possible time frame so I will refund the guess.

Re: Twenty Questions: Game 493
Summary
1, 2, 5, 10, 12-16. Fictional version of a real world non-carnivorous Artiodacytla that is commonly domesticated by humans.
3-4, 6, 8. Introduced June 9, 1954 - February 15, 1985
7, 11. Has supernatural/magical powers, in the broad sense. That is, the character has done things that would be impossible in the real world for the real world animal to do. Character has not been portrayed speaking (to QMs knowledge)
9. Not first introduced in a work by Dr. Seuss
Not Master Chief (kingofthepirates)
Not Jon Arbuckle (Pengwinja)
Not the Lorax (Miminena)
Pass: Introduced in a work primarily meant to be read by its audience?
Pass: Was this character initially created for an audience that was primarily less than 18 years old?

Eh... I guess you're right, but I'll leave it, especially after the Spider-Man discussion from last round.

Is this animal's lore heavily involved with: Christmas, Easter, CS Lewis, JRR Tolkien, Disney, or Folklore?

Not Spider-Ham
I’ll offer a clue after Q19 that should set people on the right track, if no one’s gotten it before then

I think I have a good guess... but I'm just not quite confident enough to risk burning a question.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 1:40 amNot Spider-Ham

Since DreamTrawler pointed out earlier your first guess was impossible, if you want a second free guess go ahead.Spartaculous wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 3:32 amI think I have a good guess... but I'm just not quite confident enough to risk burning a question.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 1:40 amNot Spider-Ham

Re: Twenty Questions: Game 493
Eh, thanks, but I think I'll play it straight, and wait until after Q20 is asked. If I'm right, it's a very clever pick.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 4:01 amSince DreamTrawler pointed out earlier your first guess was impossible, if you want a second free guess go ahead.Spartaculous wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 3:32 amI think I have a good guess... but I'm just not quite confident enough to risk burning a question.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Sat Mar 15, 2025 1:40 am

Is it a pig?
"Okay, quick question. The Internet. That's the one with e-mail, right?"

Re: Twenty Questions: Game 493
No need for the clue, you figured it out.
To explain the passes:
The mascot came out in 1974 in France, and was later introduced in 1988 in the US. While the US version seemed to be targeted at minors (many people would say that, including the US government), the French version was a little iffier and I couldn't find any good details either way on that.
On primarily meant to be read, I thought ads with some, but generally minimal, words straddled enough of a grey area to warrant the pass.
