Duly scratched.
For reference, this individual was born southwest of this line:

(Also, almost all of Alaska has been eliminated.)

Did we finally get one of those fabled Aleutian Islanders from way back when?

It would have been quite funny if the answer to the question depended on map projections, or great circle versus 'straight lines'.

We did not. (Not counting this as a question.)Spartaculous wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 2:52 amDid we finally get one of those fabled Aleutian Islanders from way back when?
No.
No, this person is not best described as an artist.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 5:14 amWould this person be considered an artist by most people who know of them? As opposed to, say, a patron of the arts, art critic, or talent agent.
Oh, I'm going by the great circle route which is what Google Maps uses to calculate. Maybe there's some map projection where the answer would have been different, but with the great circle it's pretty unambiguous.

I think you already know the answer to this question. Note that I said they were born in a country that contains a state called Georgia, not just an area that is currently part of a country that contains a state called Georgia.

I'm a little lost. It seems like the last birthdate related question established that this person was either born 1880-1910 or 1952-present. In both of those time periods, Georgia was already a state of the US. Unless there was something else I'm missing.

The information about the existence of Georgia has been used to end up with day following Georg Eliot's demise as the first possible day the individual could have been born.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 5:38 pmI'm a little lost. Ah, that's totally on me. In my head, I had asked "born between 1880 and 1910" or something to that effect. Whoops!Pepijn wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 5:56 pmThe information about the existence of Georgia has been used to end up with day following Georg Eliot's demise as the first possible day the individual could have been born.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 5:38 pmI'm a little lost. As I understand your question, it would not distinguish between 1880 - 1910 and 1952 - recent past.

Whether conditional questions are allowed has been somewhat controversial and depends on the question master. It looks like conditional questions are currently allowed, though conditional guesses are prohibited.Ernst_Brenner wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 6:53 pmNot sure if "if questions" are allowed, but if they are:
If the answer to the last question ("Is the individual known to be an art collector, curator, donator, or can be described as a 'muse'?") is "no", my question is:
were they involved in the film industry?
If the answer to the last question is "yes", I'm not asking a question at this time.
Of course, if "if questions" are not allowed, I don't think I have asked a question.
