Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
I can tell from the reactions that the setup is extremely unpopular and widely disliked. Possible changes coming soon.

Sorry I don't understand.
Mafia knows who the Tracker is every Night.
Mafia knows who the Doctor is every Night.
How is this balanced?

Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
Okay I dont really see why it matters but im gonna go ahead and step down as gm and let someone else run whatever they want. The kouncil advised me to keep this setup weeks ago when I offered to change it and they said nah go ahead and keep it.
So im out. Hopefully someone else has a fun game Jamie likes.

You were in the chat with my setup. You were in it for weeks as adjustments were being made. Last minute you are now acting like the setup is broken and acting blindsided by it. It makes no sense how you can suddenly become so disgustingly toxic about it when you had no problem with it for over a month and a half.

If you think carefully... you can see what is unique about this game. I am still convinced it has balance, workability, and will be fun.

This is an important answer
Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
I don't see an obviously gamebreaking strategy for mafia here despite knowing who has what roles.

Okay well I am not stepping down. Just frustrations.

I was running a game, then I was about to be in Worcej's game. There wasn't a big period in between where I was a neutral party.

If you have a constructive suggestion please do arrive at a point soon. Otherwise im going to conclude youre just trying to be really rude for no reason.

I'm not trying to interfere but if the GM can't answer that question then what the fuck.

Okay, hello Brainbomb!brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2024 12:17 amIMG_1015.png
You were not running a game in mid july when the setup was being discussed and modified. After this image the setup was modified and discussion in that channel continued. Was I supposed to track you down and ask if you still approved of a setup you already had approved of?

I'm not being rude for no reason; I'm concerned that this setup is unbalanced.
I have explained why.
I am not being mean; I care about everyone having a good experience. I am concerned that this setup is not balanced. I have explained why.
I hope this feedback is helpful.

Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
I cant answer a vague question claiming the setup isnt balanced when you arent saying what actually makes it imbalanced.
The mafia knowing who has what powers each night doesnt matter as they have no idea what those people will do with those powers

They can choose which PR they want to kill.

Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
No it is drama for the sake of drama and it is not adding anything constructive nor specific as to what your problem is with the setup. It is not imbalanced at all. It is nuanced and yes the mafia get to know what everyone is each night but they have no idea what will be done with those powers and they also are potentially the ones selected to have said powers

I fundamentally don't get what the point of this game's central mechanic is.
I'll be honest.

Re: Mafia Olympics - Final Medal Game - Confirmation Thread
They arent PR.
And if you read what the PR do theres a watcher a doc and a joat essentially. Mafia has to outguess what those roles will do with their actions. The joat has a tracker or a gun or a vest.

Just to say that I didn't understand the setup but will play anyway if the game is still going on.
