Oh, you think I couldn't count myself? No...I just didn't read down like Jamie did when checking the rules. In all honesty, it's more likely a townslip from your POV (and from my POV it is totally a townslip).

I'm very confused though. Did Flum not increase the number of agents when he increased the number of goons?

The town numbers don't add up either. Calling out your own townslip is probably a townslip in itself.

Scum making an intentional townslip don't point to it and say "oh look I townslipped", they let others draw that conclusion.

If the 3P wins, the game continues for scum and town (one of whom will also win). So neither scum nor town are necessarily motivated to hunt 3P nor help 3P. However (see my previous post), I think there are strong arguments for helping 3P as town (I've been thinking about this for at least a week or two now).

@ghug - Note the last sentence. If you've been thinking about the setup for a week or two, how likely are you to get the number of agents wrong?

It's not strong by itself, but you noted earlier that bunny seemed to be awfully tryharding (in my experience Bunny played the same way in the only other game I was with them in, and I believe they were scum). And Jamiet and yourself immediately came to his defense with deflections.

I would have been convinced it's not a scumslip simply if someone had pointed to Flum's error. But the over-the-top "No, that's not a scumslip, it's a townslip!" has me intrigued.

Am I missing something? Were the rules posted before the game started? I genuinely only went to the signups thread to put my name down, and then didn't pay attention again until the flavor went up yesterday.

I don't know what Damo PM says but the GM kindly posted all PMs so you can read it and understand what Ghug was saying. If you can't someone can probaly draw it for you.

Presumably the numbers were wrong when he read it before too, right?
