Really? Seems to me that it'll be more obvious. Most games I've played, the flavo(u)r is NAI, until the GM makes some specific statements. If you want to reaver-read bunny or tom for something else I'll listen, but I kinda doubt there's crumbs in the flavo(u)rtext.

If the GM post, announcing the Reaver post violation, does not compromise or disadvantage, the Reavers in some way, what is the point of the Reaver posting restriction? A rule which can be violated with no appreciable sanction is merely a guideline.

But first of all, let's push Tem and Fox to do a repost (and maybe Chaq), since they're the only ones left from the first who haven't done so yet. Regardless of outcomes, this gives us info, as:

if they refuse, well :D

if they properly do it, and there is another warning, we get a reveal

if they properly do it, and there is no warning, then we know not to repost and what possibilities to cut off.

"Left from the first"? If you're referring to Day 1, Vecna hadn't posted until after the press violation. I also haven't posted in the other two reaver press violation windows (although, as I've pointed out before, the GM announcement could be on a delay such that we don't actually know what the window is).

Why would GM let us know of three reavers? Wouldn't we just be told when they actually start killing by telling us of a death?

GM Clarification:

This was a Level 1 Reaver Press Rules Violation.

This is to indicate that a violation has occurred in the existing pattern, but not who is responsible for it.

A Level 2 Rules Violation, if incurred, will reveal a player as a Reaver.

I understood "level 1" and "level 2" as first offense and second offense, like strikes kinda

But maybe it's the severity of the violation? like (not this example, obviously) but if the thing was you cannot post two names, and you only post one, it would be level one. If you posted both it would be level 2

I agree with this in general, but was assuming that the punishment was that we could do just what we've been doing and try to narrow down the pool of posters. The only reason I think a delay is possible is to avoid a situation where a GM announcement can be automatically tied to a prior post.
