I literally spent a very large part of the game voting for and fighting with Rumi. If you want to read into my sincerity later and say it was a pocketing attempt to ahead but I'm not going to lie about what happened and Rumi was never in my pocket nor did I want her to be.

I was just saying that if you are mafia and you give a strong town read of someone in your first post, it comes across as pocketing.

Seriously? Is this about to be a repeat of last game? Where some people get blindly defended because liking them?

I was not in the last game, so I do not understand your reference.

Sabi hard defended Neon and insisted she wasn't scum the whole game. (until they were killed). Neon's replacement turned out to be scum.

Even here, Sabi's vote for Bona feels more based in personal feelings rather than anything Bona has done all game. I mean, show me some facts and I'll throw my vote behind Bona.

Some of the votes here feel more memey than substantial, particularly the ones for Tom.

And seriously Bona, wasn't it you (or was it someone else) who told me self-voting was anti-town last game.

tl;dr Personal feelings about something outside the game or prior friendships have no place in something where facts matter. Not things like "I like them." or "the people I invited gate a d1 pass on being voted" (note: both people Sabi invited last game turned out to be scum)

not to again go too deep into theory but by the nature of the game a lot of early votes/cases will be memey and insubstantial, because we're starting from a position of no information. that doesn't make it all pointless - part of how movement is generated is by making votes/accusations that are trivial, and this helps build discussion that eventually becomes more substantial. Sabi's initial vote on Bona was a meme vote but I believe the claim of a "N0 red" was an expression of a serious read that sabi had on bona's posts so far and i liked that for sabi.

of course it's okay if you don't have anyone you suspect yourself so far, but don't try to fret too much about others doing things that seems reachy or silly to you

I think you vastly overestimate how effective this survey will be.

I'd hate to have my skill insulted by Brainbomb again but people who spend a large portion of their posts focused on mechanics are more often than not woof. It's easy, speculate on mech and people think you look helpful.
