Macca573 – Still ObvTown, challenging snowy to bare knuckle contest cements their position at top of my reads list. I hope you don’t pay any attention to people criticising your play. It’s a game, have fun.

snowy801 – Posts a lot, pushes people and their buttons, scum hunting – Town.

Vecna – If WorTom flips scum, vecna is good as clear

BobMcBob – Seems to have contributed less as days go on, but town lean

Hamilton Brian – Still a big fat null. Doesn’t do anything wrong as such, but doesn’t really contribute much either. I do accept that I jumped on a possible scum slip too early – my bad.

damo666 – I’m more concerned about Damo’s claim than I am about rdr and vecna’s. In this set up if scum kill cop/doc/roleblocker etc, it’s so easy to coast to late game. No one can CC you. We have to find a way of corroborating these kinds of claims. I really don’t like how he claimed when he didn’t have to. IMPORTANT NOTE IF I DIE – Damo, Rdr and vecna only claim PR after ghug dies. If one of them stole his item, we are in trouble.

rdrivera2005 – Cop claim (see above for why I’m suspicious) Is it too convenient that he happened to scan a died guy and then missed a scan, so we have no scum and no clears from him?

Foodcoats – helped in the kakarroto kill but that could be a late bus I suppose.(I need to re-read foodcaots)

Bozotheclown – Instrumental in stopping Jamie from being killed which in turn lead to Kakarroto’s death so town points for that for sure. I haven’t updated my read on him. Would get town cred if Jamie is town

Brain/Fish – Town. If he has subbed in as mafia and then gone to this much trouble to read everything and engage as much as he has, then fair play, that’s great scum game.

WorTom – Has to be tomorrow’s kill.

Jamiet99uk – his d2 makes me lean town.

And here is the dilemma I have. I can make a case for everyone being town, which really throws up red flags for me about the quasi clears.
I think we have to have one scum in Damo/rdr/Vecna. I’d put it as Damo=RDR>>>>>>>>Vecna

Then if you held a gun to my head I’d say foodcaost=HB=Bob for remaining spot, but whoever it is they have played well.

BrainBomb could be 3P which would explain why he is reading so intently I suppose. And fish was on D1 Bona wagon. Could bona have had Napkins or did 3P acquire them some other way. (assuming 3P sent that message) Did they shoot Ghug or Guess right person to scan and steal from?

I have no doubt. I just wish this was one of those games where he tries.

But then, he did say he was busy with his studies, which is obviously more important than mafia. I only get away with it because I'm a shitty wage thief.

Just in case I die. Unlikely, given the high number of actual PR claimants around, but hey.

I could be wrong, I admit. I struggle to see how, but then, people who are wrong rarely see how they are so, which means my struggles mean little in the end.

I still firmly believe that the scum team is:

Tom Bombadil
Hamilton Brian
Jamiet99uk

Tom is self explanatory. I had independent reasons for scum reading him before Vecna's claim, it just confirmed it in my mind.

Brian, I think a lot of people have come around to seeing things this way. I have no large concerns he'll get away. Not towny, not curious, not scum hunting, highly appeasementy. He claims RL and needs-a-break, which may be true, but doesn't make him less scum.

Jamiet is the real killer here. I think I created a bad situation D2, doing things the way I did. I thought Jamiet was scum D2. I didn't vote him early because I like to control the situation EoD whenever I can because better me than an unknown (don't know if you noticed). At some point, I saw his wagon skyrocket forward (6-2-2), upon which I became somewhat skeptical of the wagons and went for my preferred wagons.

But upon reflection of new knowledge, (Kaka and worcej flipping scum, just presumably for the latter), we have more to work with. Why did two scum arbitrarily latch onto a rather overwhelming town wagon (4-2-2, with a lot of negative sentiment about Jamiet's scumminess all day, mostly coming from me, ghug, Vecna). Because they saw him as a liability, and saw it as a good opportunity for town cred. It might've looked rather bad opposing the Jamiet wagon by, say, voting lfischl or bozo, if Jamiet ended up flipping scum anyway. Also think, would scum just consecutively overwhelm a town wagon like that? 6-2-2? Unlikely. They like to spread out (counterpoint: Maniac D1, no idea what happened there)

Consider further how hesitant Jamiet was in voting for Kaka instead of lfischl. He says it's because he didn't want to move until certainty, but you make your own certainty in mafia, and the momentum was there, to be greatly added upon if he joined in earlier rather than later especially with his two votes. He also would say, "I vote lurkers anyway" which is probably true on a meta level, but that just means he had a reason to scum read Kaka (as he likes to repeat) and no reason to scum read lfischl, yet still resisted.

Think about it. He was scummy D1, and he was super scummy D2. D3 became a wash because 1) obviously Tom 2) Macca so it's hard to take away from anything. He also didn't give away his chicken after saying he would. I'm sure he'd have a great, believable excuse lined up for this because Jamiet's a good mafia player, but note that this is not a towny action. The reasons for voting out Jamiet D2 doesn't go away because we voted out another scum that day - he had little to no say in it, and resisted it if anything. Just think about it - it makes perfect sense.


I guess... if I'm wrong... Maniac > bozo > rdrivera with foodcoats somewhere in there and me mistaking scum for 3P would be my next best guesses.

BobMcBob* - trust him, if I die. If I live, I suppose I could tell you why, depending on how the day goes. I guess could be 3P, but obvtown so no.

Vecna* - I mean, still an outside contender for 3P given he was on both wagons but I feel like outing Tom the way he did just invites scum reprisal, on someone who is already alleged to be a frequent "fearkill". And then you're outed with the last scum daykill, whoops? Otherwise, clearly not mafia (ignore all this if Tom not scum, but I don't expect so).

rdrivera* - honestly, of the claimants this one is the weakest. Rdrivera also was cop last game, and also forgot to put in an order the N2 as cop, which very disappointed the GM and me. Could be leaning into this, but on the flip side shows precedence. He could have been real lucky to pick up a guak, but... extremely (repeat: EXTREMELY) unlikely, consider town unless there are extreme reasons to believe otherwise.

Macca - damn it Macca, listen to Bob or Vecna, if you won't listen to me

Maniac - I don't know if you guys noticed, but I think him saying bona softed Cheese was just him softing that he got the Cheese after he was voted off. Whether you think that makes him more or less 3P is up to you, but I think less. Kakarroto's shitty logic + other factors makes me believe town.

brainbomb - probably town just from how D2 voting went. brainbomb seems pretty towny so far. Keep an eye out, but not too much.

bozotheclown - I personally think he's real towny. I'm just putting him on the bottom because nobody else really seems to think so, eh.

foodcoats - 3P. Just a feeling from the way he's been playing + how he leapt on Kakarroto at the end of D2. Not much to go on so continue exploring the probability space, but my hunches also tend to be somewhat decent.

Some other things:
1) I believe 3P shot ghug, having had the gun from start, as they scanned him with a required item.
2) I begin to believe that the napkin holder was actually ghug himself, just testing the waters (remember: no napkin receiver claimants D2 - who was RB'd N1? ghug). Could still be scum. Either way, don't trust no napkins kids, they're dirty. Makes sense with 3P shooting ghug too.
3) Town probably used hammer. Scum or Macca probably used lettuce.
4) I am in possession of the Hot Salsa. I did not use it N1; I used it N2 on worcej but was roleblocked. I used it N3 on foodcoats (if anyone randomly receives gun or napkins on D4, 99% it's foodcoats 3P). I am also in possession of another item. If I am dead, whoever originally sent it to me would be alive, so that is all I need to say I think.

Remember to shuffle items, and use mind games against scum/3P during nights, without revealing anything crucial. Remember to think beneath the surface, to consider the motives behind the appearance of an action. Try not to tunnel, and don't be antagonistic/oppressive to your scum reads.

Trust your town core. Damo, Bob, great job. Vecna, rdrivera - step it up. You're extremely capable players.

I say all this, but I hope to be alive anyway. But if not, good luck! Sorry about being a dick, I have good intentions but poor performance.

Well, on a good note, no town is dead. On a bad note, the 3P is still out there.
