I write ya'll rather than y'all because I'm a degenerate. Ya'll sounds more like what I say out loud, y'all does not, and it hurts my eyes.

Re: M80 Game Thread
This is how I group people with T->S within each group
Definite Town
Damo
Almost certainly town
Worcej Eden
Town based on Meta/feel but just could be deepscum
Brain ghug Jamie
Town based on hard work but could be fake
Sweet Kak Dousing
The Rest
Bona rdr Bunny X Haze
I suspect scum are 3 from the rest or more likely 2 from the rest and 1 from either the meta group or work group.

Brainbomb - I was bored so I fed some of your quotes from D2 into ChatGPT and asked it to write script for a scene in which you thrill the town with your Mafia analysis.
Here is what ChatGPT produced:
============================
INT. STRATEGY ROOM - DAY
The group gathers around, attentive to Beancomb's strategic insights. Beancomb paces back and forth, his mind focused on the game.
BEANCOMB:
"Alright, team, let's dive deep into this mystery like we're navigating a labyrinthine maze at Chuck E Cheese's. We need to unravel the truth and unmask the cunning mafia hiding among us."
The room buzzes with anticipation as Beancomb delves into the analysis.
BEANCOMB (CONT'D)
"Consider this scenario: if Dousing is town, it's possible the mafia orchestrated a clever strategy, much like the carefully crafted burgers at Wendy's. They could have used a diversionary tactic, like swapping Dousing with a scum member, creating a smokescreen to cast doubt on their innocence."
The group nods, understanding the implications of Beancomb's theory.
BEANCOMB (CONT'D)
"Alternatively, if Dousing is already in cahoots with the mafia, they might have utilized a stealthy maneuver, much like ordering from the secret menu at Applebee's. They could have employed a bus driver to swap Dousing with an unsuspecting townie, aiming to paint Dousing in a falsely innocent light."
Beancomb scans the room, gauging the reactions of his fellow players.
BEANCOMB (CONT'D)
"Our mission, my friends, is to sort through the clues and identify the true culprits like seasoned detectives. We must analyze voting patterns, scrutinize claims, and uncover any misdirection that rivals a magician's act at a fast-food drive-thru. Remember, we're not just playing a game; we're fighting for justice and exposing the hidden agenda of the mafia."
The room is filled with a renewed sense of determination and focus.
BEANCOMB (CONT'D)
"So, let's put on our investigative hats and dive into this mystery like we're devouring a Big Mac at McDonald's. With each piece of evidence we uncover, we inch closer to victory, just like finishing that last fry in the bag."
Beancomb ends with a confident smile, rallying the team for the challenge ahead.

I previously drew attention to the fact he talked about, and directly addressed, BunnyGo, especially before BunnyGo had posted.
He also interacted with you a lot in the early game.
Perhaps he would interact with one or two scum members, and distance from others. Is there anyone he conspicuously didn't mention? I'll check.

Re: M80 Game Thread
Nope - that's a red herring. A quick search reveals that all of the currently-still-living players were mentioned or addressed by Foxcastle, at least once, before Worcej's scan.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 11:21 amI previously drew attention to the fact he talked about, and directly addressed, BunnyGo, especially before BunnyGo had posted.

Let's address these two Bona-thoughts for a moment (the numbers are my labelling, excuse the edit):Bonanatogether wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 11:17 pmI purport that I can find a way you're scum and it's that you're not cced and ccing you mid-d2 would be stupidPrincess Eden wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 10:06 pmCanst thou likeBonanatogether wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 10:02 pmmechanically i can't find a way eden is scum (after 5 seconds of thinking and having not read the role document tbf) but just from a mental standpoint we're coming at the game from such different angles i'm finding it hard to believe town eden isn't seeing what i'm seeing in some things and i just don't see some things he's talking about at all
Giveth actual examples
whatever
1. the shit about dousing just doesn't register on my radar of 'things that matter', like he's forgettable in extremis, so who cares
2. you're like super sold on your poe and i'm like totally not (rd, jamie, sweet, are my biggest points of contention with it)
1. Wouldn't being forgettable in extremis be a very useful quality for a Royalist to possess?
2. What is your point of contention with regards to my good self, exactly?

Re: M80 Game Thread
If I was the GM I would only allow that with regard to Factional commands, not individual actions. If a player with an action forgets to order an action on a given night, that's on them, the GM shouldn't hand-hold anyone.

This was some work, for sure. I would like to see X respond to it. (I note that X has not posted in this phase, at all)...

Re: M80 Game Thread
My conversation with Kak did not make any reference to Worcej or jail actions. I'm confused by your comments.

First you pick on 'forgot', now worcej and jail. Looks like you're making up reasons to question what was clearly meant as a humourous post.
I don't think you're confused at all.

Re: M80 Game Thread
I purport that Kak's post about scum missing commands was generated by previous discussion on why worcej wasn't jailed (seems a tad strange but maybe fear of worcej being watched).Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 12:09 pmYou've lost me, sorry.damo666 wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 11:44 amIt was the obvious trigger for Kak's.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 11:39 am

You replied saying individual actions being forgotten could not be replaced by other scum members.
I jokingly invited the forgetful scum [if any] to own up.
That's all. Happy to leave it there.

Oh I see, OK. I thought you were talking about the other Kak post I responded to. No worries.

Re: M80 Game Thread
I think this responds to your fast reaction/idea, that after worcej announced his scan, your first response was to stop the flow and say that there is a possibility that fox might've been driven (or something like that).sweetandcool wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 3:43 amWait, I defended Fox? I hardly interacted with them this game. I do not remember defending them. Who bussed them?BunnyGo wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 2:03 amI'm one of the people who finds damo pretty easy to read by late game, so I wouldn't shoot him no matter what.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 1:54 am
thanks for the answer
strangely enough, I didn't get many answers here, but your input is very appreciated
also, in the post before, X explicitly said not to shoot damo ... could you see a mafia team with fox, x, damo and a fourth? If so, who would you guess for the last spot?
I don't know why X would say that...haven't seen the post (or if I saw it, it didn't stick).
I have no idea who the fourth would be there; nobody has specifically jumped out at me as having special interactions with those 4, but I haven't read closely for them. I'm still catching up first read.
Among the remaining players:
You, and dousing are among my scummier reads.
HaZe is hard to get a sense of.
brain I think I finally understand.
Maybe I was wrong about bona? but that's still not high on my list.
rdr I sussed last time he was scum, but got a bad scan on him and got confused. This time...not seeing it yet, but not seeing much of him yet.
jamie, and ghug seem like jamie and ghug; I have a hard time catching them and usually rely on those who don't have a hard time.
sweet is earnest...his post defending fox as possibly bussed was very very earnest. I can't tell yet if it's scum defending scum or town not wanting a miskill; but I'm leaning toward the latter.
At the time, I found it looked like quite a leap of logic where the first step of "yarr, we got mafia!" was kinda skipped. So I kinda want to ask you, why do I (and maybe others) have this impression? Can you explain what happened there?
Re: M80 Game Thread
regarding my theory (vote survey n stuff), there are things that point to X too, so I'm heavily inclined to agree with you.
anyone else who wants to dig up the marked spot?
