12.
1) Complains profusely about the Start Date making it impossible for him to play,
2) Tells us he's been spending all his time playing a video game (thus immediately showing what a hypocrite he is),
3) Stoically defends outdated white colonial traditions,
4) Votes me because Teacon did. (??)
5) Compliments aarodactyl's post.
Only (4) and (5) represent anything like a basic contribution to actually playing the game, his other 12 posts were just grumbling and talking about Turkey 'n' Genocide Day.
Vecna, I will absolutely join a Chaqa wagon if you want to start one.
Indeed Chaqa is highly suspicious. I see he's showed up now, and now that he has time to participate, what does he do?Vecna wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 10:38 amid say that is actually scum indicative for Chaqa. Not reading the game yet magically ending up on the right wagon?Fluminator wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 4:13 amAt least Chaqa and Vash voted correctly.
Happy with killing Yoyo right now.

cant believe i did not even notice thatkgray wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 5:39 amIt's not even close to alphabetical though?Durga wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 12:05 amOnly scum would do town reads alphabetically instead of by strength.ghug wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 11:06 pmSo, to summarize my thoughts (mostly for me).
Town pool I won't vote today (below the line is weaker,. otherwise it's alphabetical):
Bunny
Neph
Celaph
Chaqa
Vecna
Bozo
Kgray
emc
-------------
Vash (again I think the teacon vote buys him a day or two, but that's it)
HR (too much respect for HR to strong town him for teacon's death, but signs are good)
Worcej (I liked his push on me, but that's not the hardest thing to fake)
Jamie (I think teacon's flip makes him look marginally worse, but I'm still getting town vibes)
Durga (was higher but she's being useless and teacon defended her)
The following are non-townreads who I don't want to kill yet because they're good (least to most scummy):
Balki
Damo
Flum
The remaining six, in eagerness to vote order:
Bona
Maniac
Brian
Yoyo
Aaro
Brain
No idea how teacon defended me when he essentially blamed ND's toxic shit on me but go off
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
this was the one townreading ND and then switching I guess. Also known as the 1/3 that im not townreading heavily (I dont know if im townreading him lightly, dont ask, id have to hit the archives).aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:15 amI have a pretty busy weekend, and so I'm just catching up on the last 20 pages. I have a couple of vague reads that I'll post once I'm caught up (and once I've gone though the voting records from last round). I have a lot more free time during the week, so I'm going to try to be much more active then.
Also, after looking at the results, I agree that my vote on ND was pretty suspicious. In case anyone asked and I haven't read it yet, I became increasingly less confident in my town read and also got more annoyed at the way he was talking to everyone. I also didn't anticipate all the flipping at the end of the round, but I guess I should have seen it coming in retrospect.
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
revisit your bozo and neph logic and realize its just based on a bad hunch
Bozo threw out a weak filler d1 and then didnt do anything with it when people pre-empted a weak response.
Then he forcibly used pure last-second voting -only- to suspect two people already receiving pressure. When pressed about it, he did not do his usual snappy strong rebuttal, he did a weak question to try and change the topic.
dude is scum. Trying to find his town meta, but failing.

oh no.....im genetically related to chaqaChaqa wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:47 amMy family is Italian (arrived in the 1920s), Pennsylvania Dutch (arrived sometime in the 1800s) and Cherokee. I doubt I have much to feel guilty about there.
Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
I know im not going to convince you on Bozo, but did you notice how Neph popped in, and literally only responded to the one taunt-post I flung in his direction?kgray wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 6:57 amDon't vote for yoyo, he's part of the greatest lakes![]()
I'm fine with Hamilton as a wagon - why don't you want him? I think he's been really scummy lately. His insistence that teacon's "Rodney King" post caused him to townread him and his inability to explain why he's not townreading Balki for that same reason is really suspect to me. He also questioned Flum's scumread of teacon a lot and was overly defensive about it imo (which makes me give Flum lots of townpoints if Hamilton is in fact scum). And his scumreading me when others did for "saving" teacon when his vote for ND was breaking the tie from his POV just seems like he's trying to hang on and encourage a miskill on me instead.
I'm also good with emc or damo, and I know you don't want either of them.
I found the way emc avoided teacon's wagon at EOD yesterday suspicious even before teacon flipped. Now it looks especially bad. The only thing emc said about teacon before I asked him if he'd join that wagon was that he agreed with brain's thoughts about him (where brain was scumreading teacon). And then him saying he preferred ND (no explanation, again) didn't make sense as he'd given no reason to scumread ND either.
Damo is being way too normal and is just sitting back and watching, which I think is his in line with his scum meta. I also don't get why you think he's good enough to keep around even if you scumread him? No offense meant to damo, but he doesn't exactly have a reputation for being a great solver or anything.
##vote emc

damo666 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:21 amI dislike the HB wagon, he sounds genuine to me. I townread the last 3 voters (celaph, Vecna and Flum) so I therefore hypothesise there is at least 1 scum in the remaining voters (Neph, Durga, Balki).
Of the current kgray voters the only possible busser I can see might be Maniac.
Of those off the top 2 wagons I townread HR, Bona, HB and ghug.

Re: M62: PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF REVOLUTIONARY MAFIA GAME THREAD!
it has its ups and downs. not as definitively town as stuff the other 2 have done, but definitely enough for me to not wanna kill that slotChaqa wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:23 amThis is a really nice post.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:17 amFor better or worse, I'm realizing that I need to reread a lot of this game now that I'm starting to be able to tell people apart. I'm going to include my reads here. There's going to be a lot people not included, but I'll make another post tomorrow once I do a lot of rereading and note taking.
-First of all, as a new player, the whole interaction between Bunny and Celaph about QT was incredibly suspicious. I hadn't heard the term QT before, but it was obviously a trap to get Celaph to scumslip. My personal take is that it was coordinated by the person that's allowed to day post in mafia chat (I'm not scum, I just read the rules). I think it's also possible to read it as null. However, I think it's a large stretch to read it as celaph definitely being town. I just looked back and the people that jump on the celaph town wagon were Durga, Damo, HB, and Bunny.
-I have no idea what the meta is for how scum vote. However, the rest of the bullet points are going to be about voting records anyways. If Maniac ends up being scum, all the votes on ND starting with mine are super suspicious. However, if only look at the votes that happened to make ND go ahead of tea , the suspicious ones to me (based on voting ND) are Jamiet, brain, Kgrey, and HB.
-I'm also suspicious of Balki for switching to tea with 1 minute left. To me this reads as someone trying to pass as town by casting a vote for scum that wasn't going to matter. It also got them off of a single person wagon (HB) that they jumped on with 4 minutes left. But maybe I'm underestimating the last minute swings.
-Everyone that ended on a one person wagon is suspicious to me. This includes Bona, Bozo, EMC, Maniac, Neph, Vecna, Worcej, and Yoyo.
-On the other hand, I think Vashta is town based on the timing of their votes for Tea. I think HR and Chaqa might be town for the same reason. However, this depends on whether or not Maniac is town or not (meaning they're probably town if Maniac is town or null if Maniac is scum).
-I've skimmed the entire game, and I agree that Kgrey's voting was very suspicious at the end of the round. I'm going to see who pushed this line of reasoning, but for now I think it's compelling.
Unfortunately I have a lot of reasons to suspect different people of being scum, and there's very little overlap between the lists I created. As a result, I don't have that much confidence in the following reads. However, I think adding my opinion tonight is helpful anyways.
Town reads:
Vashta (for putting tea two votes ahead of ND)
Scum reads:
Balki (their voting seemed super strange)
Celaph (for their respond to the QT question)
HB (for being in the overlap of two of my lists)
Kgrey (for being in the overlap of the QT thing and for switching voting from tea to ND)
