Scenario 2: damo is scum and Durga is town. He knows he will be lynched rather soon, and is trying to take out an active townie before he inevitably dies.

Scenario 1 is possible, I don't expect it so I didn't consider it, but Damo could have been teached to do this.
Scenario 2 is unlikely, I don't expect scum Damo that survived until know making this kind of push on a town Durga. It will only make sense if Flash is the driver.

Answering your question, I agree this post is dumb as hell as town as you can't be sure Durga is scum and if she isn't and Damo also isn't scum you get two town lynched and probably game over.
But I can see town Damo doing this, just remember the way he played last game. I would expect a scum Damo to be more on the defense at this point. Maybe it's a confirmation bias.

Actually it makes sense if Damo is the driver. He claims he knows who doc is, and surviving one more night means he can probably off them. If I'm lynched today, he'll 100% be lynched tomorrow. But there must be a reason he wants that extra night to be alive.
