The last few pages are madness. I need to think.

ND is the type of guy who when he believes something to be true he doesnt give up on it.

Why is that relevant?

Because ND is a hard line believer in his own wisdom. He shouts at folks for having weak IQs. In the above vote shifting its unclear why he firmly thinks durga is confessing. And then suddenly doesnt.

It could be a soft bus here. Durgas attempts to push ND into being townread by others may be a sign of this.

Uh, just what he said. If he got killed, it was to stop someone from fake claiming detective kit. How would scum have known at that point where investigator kit was to allow BB to fake claim detective kit?
