But he's only town if he's loud and wrong. I think his case and push in eden has a lot merit to it.
Eden looks terrible under pressure and the whole weird ate at the end.
Legit question.

scrolling through worcej vs eden, not sure i agree that eden constantly fighting is a thing he does, but i agree with the cej that eden does not feel quite right. will try to elaborate further when not in car. acknowledge that he did do a similar thing in another game to gauge my response, so not totally clear on what he's thinking

Don't you think Eden was trying to be self aware the entire time he was engaging with me?BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:30 amBecause he's t!Eden who is a bit lost and can't find a way to center himself. People who are town aren't self aware of stuff like this when they are accusing people of being scum.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:28 amIf he isn’t that bad at mafia why did he do itBesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:25 amIn a w!Eden world I could see him trying to pocket and hard shielding a newbie like Rumi.
I don't see w!Eden turning on t!Bona like that tho. He wouldn't try to bite the hand that feeds (him townreads). That type of heel turn I would see if Bona was scum with him which I just don't see is the most optimal move esp since no one was really sussing him.
I just don't see w!eden turning on Bona in any world. Eden isn't that bad at mafia.

I don't understand your explanation or methodology on your logic that scum!eden wouldn't cast a joke vote on Bona.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:44 amI'm just better off going back to being uwu what's mafia uwu again aren't I

Eden has been extremely uncharitable towards me this game so I'm not trying to defend him. I just don't think it makes logical sense from him to do all of this as scum.

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
It's suboptimal play. Him bussing Bona doesn't make sense at that point in the game. If Bona is town, why the fuck would scum eden pick him to put pressure on and not someone else that was in poe for peopleworcej wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:27 pmI don't understand your explanation or methodology on your logic that scum!eden wouldn't cast a joke vote on Bona.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:44 amI'm just better off going back to being uwu what's mafia uwu again aren't I

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
For a number of years I have been familiar with the observation that the quality of programmers is a decreasing function of the density of go to statements in the programs they produce. More recently I discovered why the use of the go to statement has such disastrous effects, and I became convinced that the go to statement should be abolished from all "higher level" programming languages (i.e. everything except, perhaps, plain machine code). At that time I did not attach too much importance to this discovery; I now submit my considerations for publication because in very recent discussions in which the subject turned up, I have been urged to do so.ghug wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:23 amworcej considered harmfulBesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:16 amPart of me wants to give lock town, town core status to worcej

Eden looks terrible under pressure and the whole weird ate at the end.
My first remark is that, although the programmer's activity ends when he has constructed a correct program, the process taking place under control of his program is the true subject matter of his activity, for it is this process that has to accomplish the desired effect; it is this process that in its dynamic behavior has to satisfy the desired specifications. Yet, once the program has been made, the "making' of the corresponding process is delegated to the machine.
Potato, potato; potato.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Jamie's words here are more eloquent on why I'm fairly sure Eden isn't the cop and was just joke voting Bona and being weird about not explaining it.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 11:00 amSo, this argument between Worcej and Eden.
I feel like this loud frustration is Town Worcej.
President Eden is being weird.
If I understand it:
Eden had declared Bona to be one of his top townreads. Then, for some reason, he flipped over to making Bona his #1 scumread without any explanation. Then, Worcej pressured him to explain himself and he first of all asserted that he had already given "hundreds of words" on the subject, but then apparently recanted on that position and now asserts that he won't explain his scumread on Bona.
@President Eden: Why do you expect anyone to join you on Bona if you're unwilling to explain yourself? If you've got a "gotcha" on him that you refuse to discuss until a later date, wouldn't it make sense to leave Bona until then?

All of this is supposed to be view under the guise that eden doesn't make suboptimal moves
But then his track record as town pr says otherwise.

My second remark is that our intellectual powers are rather geared to master static relations and that our powers to visualize processes evolving in time are relatively poorly developed. For that reason we should do (as wise programmers aware of our limitations) our utmost to shorten the conceptual gap between the static program and the dynamic process, to make the correspondence between the program (spread out in text space) and the process (spread out in time) as trivial as possible.

If you removed my positioning and stance right now, would anyone even care as much about what Eden is doing or would they think it's a joke?BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:23 pmJokes >>> factsworcej wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:21 pmI love how I get so much shit for being wrong yet if you really think about it I'm just as wrong as all of youBesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:16 amPart of me wants to give lock town, town core status to worcej

You're thoughts that scum~eden wouldn't do this seem misplaced because really Eden didn't stick his neck out when he made the vote on Bona. If anything, he got 'caught' when he decided to engage with me as poorly as he did.

No, it isn't suboptimal I am discussing.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 1:31 pmAll of this is supposed to be view under the guise that eden doesn't make suboptimal moves

It's blatantly noob PR moves if he's actually the cop here. Noobs are the ones that rush with excitement when they get their first guilty scan.
