I never claimed to know everyone's role, I have my best guesses for most. I have no way of distinguishing Hooker from Janitor however.

Gosh, there's really some next-level thinking and strategy going on here that I just can't get. Now rdrivera's got me thinking xorxes might not actually be mafia... I am a useless player. My only use now is backing up opinions, voting, and clearing myself if need be. Because this stuff is... really complex.

You really shouldnt be so hard on yourself. Even only reading a part of this game its quite clear that some of you new B-name guys (not sure if this is your first game or not) are some of the brightest and most fun-to-play-with newguys to sign up for these since emc and vapour started playing.

I dont know what Flavius is trying to accomplish, but unless the GM's suddenly changed everything about how mafia works, nothing acts instantly during nightphases.

Would kinda suck if someone sent in a kill order to the GM's based on false information and shot town.

Nope Chaqa didnt think it was instant use I just assumed it was, at first I chose squigs but then squigs outted himself, and I just asked for it too early, I then retracted it before chaqa even saw it, and then I chose xorxes

The role description for the Item Smith does not say the police scanner in night use only, and I assume Flavius would not try to mislead town.

From the Assassin PM: "You begin the game with a special assassin’s gun. It is used as a night-kill (and therefore can be roleblocked), and while using it, you cannot be seen by a Tracker or Watcher. "

of course he might actually have received a gun, but again, i think he would have already used it, OR he doesn't yet know who to trigger.

Actually it explains the janitor thing too, if you can stop people knowing that the assasin is dead, while also killing the assasin to prevent him from hurting you, you have town at the mercy of the myth of the assasin, while also being able to pick us off

Aye. But I am not sure they KNEW xorxes was assassin. I can't find any crumbs or clues. I think they NKed xorxes because he is xorxes. It is a common fearkill. They janitored him because it is good to janitor your kill early, so that confusion results.

I don't yet know. It will be a 50-50 if Squigs doesn't help me. And then they have to guess right who I want them to kill. So odds are still wildly in town's favor.
