I think I have enough information to win the game if nobody else posts again.
This would be true if you were scum.
It's also true if I'm town.
Ok then, list all the scum please, Mr. Solver.

Being deliberately, purposefully, unhelpful, is not a good way to help town.

If you deliberately create puzzles and obstacles for town, you are harming town.
You should meet some Video Game designers... The entire experience is a struggle, by design. And the best games are the ones that are notoriously unhelpful, yet fun when you beat them.

To each their own and all that.
So you believe I should be trying to beat you?

You assume we are on different teams?

Discuss.

OK this question is awesome – but this is deep and I need to get back to coding.

I promise to get back to this tonight – with my "how would brainbomb respond" filter on ... I can also give you a version with the filter off, but in DEBUG: code

##CALL GM

Have you nudged Bozotheclown?
Are there any subs in case he is offline undergoing annual maintenance to his magnetic tape storage drives?

See that's the other thing, Koala.

You shouldn't be imitating a computer because that's already Bozo.

In Data Science, we believe that "actions speak louder than words" and see what people do instead of asking them what they want. This is why Netflix removed their preferences screen years ago.

Jamiet asks me to stop posting silly computer puns. Then posts a silly computer pun. And maybe asks to bring back the other computer-themed character while highligting their computer-ness. This means Jamiet loves recursion. That means Jamiet is a computer themselves. But a computer that wants to appear human? Also a Cylon? Does this have to do with Jamiet's alignment?

Let's do a survey!

Question 1: What will happen if I ##Vote Bozotheclown ?
Did something happen? The bot indicates no

You're right Worcej.
Nothing occurred.
In particular, Bozo did not occur.

Someone call Compuserve and ask them to reboot him.

Alright, caught up.

As I said, I had some thoughts about what we might can derive from the information we have.

That is: the player number (and names). As worcej said, we are 12 players (though how many didn't post yet, do they know the game has started?). We don't know more.

Typically, mafia know each other at the start, right? But I was thinking and this doesn't have to be 100% true, at least for D1, maybe it's a setting where they only get to know each other at the start of N1. So maybe my thoughts here hurt town a bit by giving mafia ideas, but I think it's negligible, since it's still likely they start with this information.

So, 12 players, right? If we think there is no 3rd party, normal range should be from 2 to 4, probably 3. I don't like how worcej directly jumped on the number being 3, in his post about it, but then again, it looks the most likely, no? It would be 1/4th of the whole population so mathematically it makes sense.

However, there are some variations, since Mafia could have extremely strong roles and only be two, right? Or Mafia have no roles but the numbers and town have a load of PR's. Sure, this is all speculation, but Chaqa said before, he very much liked it and wanted to play it (and correct me if I'm wrong but Chaqa likes more role heavy settings, right?).

I know for D1 this doesn't make any difference, but I'd like to mention it here for the future, with the power of hindsight and more knowledge of roles from the flips. Depending on which information we get we should get a better picture of the setting and keep rethinking, not being stuck with only one view.

Therefore, I like thoughts about these situations, especially ghug and Jamie, but everyone is welcome to add theirs (and I would most appreciate that):

-) 2 mafia, both with powerful roles, 1/6th ratio
-) 3 mafia, probably mixed, 1/4th ratio
-) 4 mafia, powerless, 1/3rd ratio

depending on what town has available as roles, I personally think 2 or 4 mafia are still on the table (though the 1/3rd ratio make me take a step back). If we have only 2 mafia with powerful roles, I think a 3rd party is possible, maybe even likely. If we have 4 mafia, then town should have a load of power roles.

Well, anyway, don't speculate on what town PR's we might have or their exact count, try to focus on the mafia team with your thoughts you write in here.

Also, maybe the GM's should remember those who haven't posted that the game began. Remember, one of the rules is that non-participation is automatic mod-kill and people will not get replaced for that.
I think 4 mafia is off the table - town would only have 1 MK and then it would be effectively MyLo on D2.
hm, fair point. I guess that makes it unlikely. I was thinking if such a numerical power could've been balanced with strong town pr, but I guess not.
The only way I see it remotely possible is several protective based roles, of which I am doubtful of those existing due to the swingy nature of heavy PR games.

I also feel ghug is much more silent than in games before. I would love to hear more from him. So here some questions for ghug:

-) What do you think of bozo and boats absence? Do you think the GM's should ask about them?

-) On a scale from 1 to 10, how serious is your Jamie vote?

-) If you had a gun with a bullet for only D1, who would you shoot (or consider to shoot)?
I think the game is too young to make this conclusion FWIW. Feels forced.

As many of you know, I normally prepare my my first post prior to any knowledge of role or affiliation. I also don't change them after I get that knowledge, so whatever role I have, it's pretty much guaranteed that my first post is from a town perspective.
How is that guaranteed?

Why do you automatically assume you will roll town, before you know what you've rolled?
TBF, I would bet that most people think they will be town before a game begins - it’s the highest likelihood
