Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Maybe. But I am also thinking that if I keep you a viable wagon, people might swap around as EOD nears, and that kind of information becomes useful later on. If it's Jamiet at 5 and a bunch of distant wagons lingering at 1 or 2 votes until the lynch, that doesn't leave us much to go on tomorrow...
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
It's not a runaway train, Ezio? My wagon is next, and it is led by Fox, who keeps hedging on it and yet won't change it, followed by rdrivera, who voted me for not pushing someone that I made very clear I don't scumread and yet won't change it, and snowy, who didn't give a reason and refuses to discuss anything with me, yet won't change it. After that is xorxes, who has thamrick, for a halfway legitimate but dry and unconvincing reason, and me. My vote is exclusively out of a desire to see a counterwagon and out of self preservation, because I think the Jamie vote is crap and I know the bo vote is crap. Frankly, I think we're about a hundred miles from anything useful right now, and a runaway train on Jamie, whether he is town or scum, is not at all helpful.
As for that post, I have no clue how you interpreted that as him saying that he is trying to stick to his meta. Please explain that to me. He is dead wrong that he only has one meta, though.

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Assuming Jamiet is town (which I kinda think, but could be wrong) and there's some combination of scum on him, I think Durga, Yavuz, and Ezio are the ones I find most suspect, but I also doubt it's all three of them.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
That's fair, but your best bet would be to raise a legitimate counterwagon, not lead one that you don't even believe in. Those three names would be a great start for you to actually look for something off the beaten track that might lead somewhere, and yet here we are.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 7:38 pmMaybe. ##CALL GM
If Maniac doesn't show up, will he be mod-killed or will you try to find a replacement?

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
No, Durga said that, and then you dismissed her argument. Jamie just said he's always emotional, which everyone already knows.
Why no no lynch?
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Well, if you want to join me, let's find a third vote for Durga, Ezio, or Yavuz.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
A reason for me to vote them would help, Fox. They're your scumreads, not mine. I'm not stuck on xorxes but I'm not going to be here for the EOD. I have work in an hour.

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Trust me when I say I'd never want to lynch Jamiet as scum, he's the golden ticket at lylo
Seriously we can't go wrong with this lynch

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Ezio is being a lot chattier than in previous games where he's pretty much lurked as town. Also, Ezio dismissed lynching Jamiet on p.12, but then shows up after 12 hours on p.15 to vote for him, which seems inconsistent. Jamiet was overreacting before Ezio said the vote was foolish, after Ezio said the vote was foolish, and after Ezio voted for Jamiet.
Durga is just a feeling for me, but then, I think maybe Durga's play just looks scummy in general. When we were both scum in M33, I watched her play a lot (in no small part to try to come up with fake reads on her), but found it difficult to find anything specific to construct a case on. Same here.
Yavuz is lurking, which is uncharacteristic. He's also finding reasons to vote for Jamiet (that he +1'd Vash's death announcement), when he's never needed reasons to vote for anyone before. But Yavuz is hard to read, and I expect his play style to progress, since this is only his third game.

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Ezio has posted like 5 times and only because we asked him questions, how do you call this chatty Fox. The second part of your analysis is much better, but you should address Ezio's response - do you not buy that circumstances have changed in 12 hours?
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
I call that chatty compared to previous games, Durga. He's pretty much Tolstoy compared to his previous games.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Also, your characterization of Ezio is off. He's posted 13 times and plenty without prompting.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Damn, 13 eh. We better lynch him
Also, I'm definitely entertaining the possibility he's scum, he's sheeping me again
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
And no, I'm not convinced circumstances have changed. Jamiet is still overreacting, and I still think that if Jamiet is scum, he knows better than to overreact. I think it's more likely that if Ezio is scum, Jamiet handed Ezio a reason to vote for him with the whole self-meta-analysis.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
It looks to me like you find Ezio the best of those three, Fox. I don't find any of those particularly convincing, but I think Ezio is the best of those three as well. I recall lynching him as town in a Discord game when he was abhorrently scummy and I think he was lynched D1 on this site in the past too under similar circumstances. What do you think his motivation for voting for Jamie?
What do you think of snowy?

Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
Eh, that's interesting. Not impossible, I suppose, but I don't see why he would go from defending him after his reaction to Vecna to voting for him on that alone if he were scum, especially if Jamie were scum as well. If he were going to bus Jamie, I don't know why he didn't do it immediately. Seems like he isn't sticking to his convictions very well and his play isn't particularly calculated.
Re: Mafia XXXV - The WebDip Class Reunion
I think snowy hasn't said enough to really have an opinion on him. I'd lean town, he looks like snowy has looked in the past couple of games when he's town.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 17, 2018 8:10 pmIt looks to me like you find Ezio the best of those three, Fox.
