It's shocking to me that you say this and then conclude he's town. Because I feel like he's done a lot more of the thing where he pretends like he wants to know why people think stuff but doesn't follow through on it, and very little (or none?) of finding logical fallacies.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:54 pmscum jamie sees people with bad reads, demands they explain them; and then proceeds to let that happen. its a thing he does where he acts like he wants to know why but usually after any explanation he just ignores the reasoning especially if its flawed or incorrect.
as town he doesnt do that at all. he just keeps chipping away to find logical fallacies in things that arent scum indicative. what do you mean you voted someone you dont scumread
or how would voting to no kill help town?
the examples are more abundant than a human being could have the time to list

a nuanced townread is perfectly fine. this is not a convoluted defense of him its actually very factual and based on 37 previous encounters with this guykgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:58 pmIt's shocking to me that you say this and then conclude he's town. Well if brain hadn't outed eod2, then it would have been good. But basically everyone thought that you were the towniest person, so it worked aside from that one bit.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:55 pmSo good that everybody died and my team lost, yes. But that was actually all Brainbomb's fault. Yes.

If we disagree about something I expect you not to just roll over when I question it. It's not like I was even arguing hard against your points, I was just asking for more explanation and you didn't seem to want to give it.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:57 pmWhat is there for us to argue about?
Why do you demand that I disagree with you?
You're so belligerent today.
I'm always belligerent, it's just that my usual targets like HR and Bunny aren't in this game.

I don't think scum Brainbomb would go out of his way to defend me like this.
I continue to suspect Durga heavily. She's been around but has done nothing but grumble about irrelevant things and make sour faces.

I was suggesting that my point was clear in the first place.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:02 pmIf we disagree about something I expect you not to just roll over when I question it. I'm not a huge fan of repeating myself. That ought to be clear over plenty of past games.

Note, however, that I also don't want to just give Maniac a free pass after he popped in with a pre-written post and then totally vanished into thin air.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:03 pmI don't think scum Brainbomb would go out of his way to defend me like this.

There's a whole lotta non-participation going on in this little game.

Now I need to get some fresh air before it gets dark.
I'll be back in a couple of hours. However, I almost certainly won't be on at EoD because it's at about 2am my time. I've got stuff to do in the morning.

You don't have to be so defensive about your defense of Jamie lol. I'm not scumreading you for disagreeing, I'm just looking at the descriptions of what you think is towny and what is scummy from Jamie, and I think he's acting more in the way that you describe him as scum.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:59 pma nuanced townread is perfectly fine. this is not a convoluted defense of him its actually very factual and based on 37 previous encounters with this guykgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 5:58 pmIt's shocking to me that you say this and then conclude he's town. If you don't want to repeat yourself you should make sure your point is *actually* clear the first time.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:04 pmI was suggesting that my point was clear in the first place.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:02 pmIf we disagree about something I expect you not to just roll over when I question it. And for the record, I still do not understand why you thought brain's interaction with me was scummy.kgray wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:08 pmIf you don't want to repeat yourself you should make sure your point is *actually* clear the first time.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 6:04 pmI was suggesting that my point was clear in the first place.

I find Jamie really hard to read based only on meta. I usually thought that when he was more abrasive he was town but after he emulated this as scum in some games I find hard to distinguish.

Nope. This is a problem as is a quick game.
I don't even have solid townreads at this point.
