I wasn't around for EOD 3 when Tom claimed that he had scanned Rivera but my first impression when reading it after and hearing him claim Sherlock was, "why would he do that and get killed only to have his notebook taken by Team 2 and read"? I thought about it for a minute and disregarded the thought because the notebook didn't mean anything because he had just said everything in it anyway.

First impressions on this post was, "that's pretty shitty, our Town Clear and Town Leader has lied to us about the information he put out. That is when I went back to the EOD voting and noticed that he made his initial claim with 11 minutes left when he was set to be lynched. A desperate move.

Tom claimed cop, with two guilty scans. Dargo was desperado who shot both of them, who indeed turned out to be scum. Tom was then nk'd and flipped VT lmao. Darg hipfired, and hit another scum. Repeat. (he's singlehandedly eliminated majority of scum team). Real cop came forwards with guilty scan, lynched second-to-last scum, remaining one surrendered.

That was a beautiful, beautiful game.

I didn’t scan purple. It’s our job now to figure out the reactions. Three people knew I was lying because I was roleblocked. For what it’s worth, I got a towny reaction from purple from this. My thoughts went back to Sherlock's Notebook and the feeling that all of this was a way to get the real Sherlock to CC so Tom and his scumbuddies can kill him and have the Graverobber take the notebook. This is why I have said a couple times that the real Sherlock should keep quiet.

I think Tom is most likely Team 2 Goon and is a sacrificial lamb in order to get their hands on that Notebook.

Ripper's Knife is a pretty nice item, but 4 pieces of information could turn the tide.

No, I wouln't have believed you if you had claimed at the last minute, so if true it's better this way. So what were those reads on rivera and Bob that you never acted on about?

I stated right in that post. Rdr had misconstrued the SK wincon, and I have a habit of almost always reading rdr as scum (and tunneled him to a mislynch more than once for it)

Bob to that point was trying to hard to shitpost and fluff fill with EMC with a strange bozo interation in the middle. It was all over the place and made no sense.

Also, I made that post 8 hours into the game. Shit any town could have picked two random people and had a 10% chance to hit two scum.

The crux of the RHK issue is that if an un cc’d Cop who just lynched scum announces they have a guilty, the natural town immediate reaction I would expect is to believe it. I would not expect town to question it, or ask why I wasn’t roleblocked, unless they had that on the mind because they knew I was roleblocked

It is heavily, heavily implied that RHK is more likely to be bussing than having a good first gutread. Further evidence in contradictory because he has not been on scum lynches. However, it being luck is a possibility that should not be excluded.

"Bussing" can refer to scum reading mafia teammates, not just voting for them. The fact that DemonRHK never vote for rdrivera or BobMcBob despite scum reading them is part of what make it suspicious. The other suspicious part is that he scum read both of them, and only them, in his first post of the game.

I follow your numbers based on your assumptions, but I am not sure about the certainty of your assumptions. The commuter only commutes 3 nights, so we do not know if he has any commutes left. Also, Chaqa could still be mafia or the SK, in which case there would be another female VT unaccounted for. It is also unlikely all the mafia would claim male VT to counter claim only 3 male VTs, although that could possibly lower the odds of the SK killing a female, depending on what the female mafia claimed.

With all that said, even though there are a number of variables, I think you are right that the SK's chance of hitting a female N4 if the male VTs claim is not great, although it might be better than 50/50. I would not mind taking that chance for N4, but it could still backfire if the SK does hit a female.

I just realized, though, that if either purplecow or yavuzovic are female VTs, then Tom's test and/or yavuzovic "no PM VT" claim could hand the SK a female VT to kill N4 if we had the male VTs claim. For this reason I think we should not do that today.

exactly my point, another thing on yavu for being scum...im voting chaqa today though because my yavu case became weaker with tom being town though I still think yavu is scum, this just confirms more for me

Despite what you seem to think, I do not support mass claiming in all situations, only when I think it gives town a better chance to win the game. I think it is likely there will be a point this game where mass claiming is the best move for town, and that time could be very soon.
