I know I was only considering 2 possibilities at the time, that damo was the NK target or that he was driven with the NK target. xorxes would have known the first was not true and been questioning if the second was true since he had not received a PM.

Lets be honest here for a second.

Xorxes as scum does not have the balls to pull off a ballsy (and totally rediculously stupid) move like shooting at himself N1 when he has no idea what roles are in the game.

Lets put this idea to bed. Its rediculous. Xorxes as scum is a timid player 9/10 games.

Thats not true, ive actually done the driver swap as mafia before to succesfully kill the driver by shooting myself.

I dont know what Flavius is trying to accomplish, but unless the GM's suddenly changed everything about how mafia works, nothing acts instantly during nightphases.

Would kinda suck if someone sent in a kill order to the GM's based on false information and shot town.

xorxes is not cleared as mafia, and Squigs knowing he would scan hostile seems to indicate he is mafia instead of assassin.

How is xorxes potentially mafia? Mafia attempted to NK him but he was switched with damo and damo died instead. Unless some particularly odd shenannigans with other roles were going on, I can't see how xorxes is mafia.

xorxes is often an early NK target, and therefore often a target for protective roles. The mafia could have NKed and RBed him hoping the NK would be driven or he would be saved in some other way. dargorygel used the word "drove" in a D1 post, so they may have guessed he was the driver, and knew it was likely dargorygel would drive xorxes.

But he's also likely a JOAT doctor target. It's risking a lot with the janitor too. It's a hell of a play.

The role description for the Item Smith does not say the police scanner in night use only, and I assume Flavius would not try to mislead town.

Ok, I have a mild idea. It's not a rocket science idea.
But I am going to exchange me with the most obv scum.
I hesitated to switch me, the other two nights because it seemed either (n1) that no one thought of me, and (n2) that they would be more scared of Kitsune than me...
But now, according to SOMEONE, I am MVC. (not player, I stink... but the CHARACTER will be on scum's radar.) I am sorta surprised that Squigglesy didn't kill me. My power remains, after all.

Do you think he thought xorxes was the assassin, or was he surprised that his claim proved to be true? What would be the point of fake claiming xorxes was scum if he expected xorxes to be revealed as town minutes later?
