This occurred to me when we migrated forums, and the concern about dead +1ing is what got me at the time.

The only malicious cheating we've had in mafia on this site was a dead player +1ing posts, and rooting it out took significant admin time. I'd love to receive +1s for my consistent in-game hilarity just as much as the next guy, but it's a can of worms not worth opening.

"We just lynched GhugBomb2015 and he/she rolled scum. FooBar1999 was online at night at similar times to GhugBomb2015. He/she must be scum!"

What does two people being online at the same time have to do with their scum status? Also, I will very often skim through messages during my workday and so my mobile browser is on this site all day even when I'm not staying current. You can read into people being online however you want, but at the end of the day, it's not an effective way to scumhunt.
