What’s a smokescreen?

It's where everyone says something like this:

If I am tracker, I targeted X and they visited Y.

If everyone does this, it allows the real tracker to hide in the group and get their night action out there. It's a tiny bit risky bcz it can help scum narrow down PRs, but it's really helpful if the PR dies without telling anyone what they did.

If we did an itemsmith smokescreen + brain participated, we'd know who he targeted and what item he gave. But we didn't, so we can't know for sure.

Correct. And if everyone does this (ie.20ish smokescreen entries), it makes it really hard for scum to accurately sort through it. At the same time, it cushions the impact on the town if the PR dies unexpectedly.

For the smokescreen to work properly, everyone has to behave as though their smokescreen entry was real.

If the real tracker ever came forward without CC, you wouldn't have to keep faking your smokescreen reveal.

Chaqa – I had thought Rdr and Chaqa’s reactions to Brainbomb were scum being really pissed off with scum teammate Brainbomb, but obv that doesn’t make sense now. Town
damo666 – Don’t like his d1 voting. People need to make decisions at EOD between leading wagons.
dargo – someone else who has wasted their vote d1. That said I now have a town feel about him

Look at this on pg 118 “It's probably Brain fake claiming just because no one seems to take his push on me seriously and he wants to be sure I am dead so he can show how marvelous he is.” So how does Brainbomb look marvellous if rdrivera flips Town? Brainbomb ONLY looks marvellous if Rdrivera is scum. I asked rdrivera to explain hours ago and despite being online since then hasn’t provided me with an answer ##vote rdrivera
Temasek22 – still hasn’t made an impression on me. Maybe I just subconsciously agree with him and tune him out. Will iso him when I have time.
Vaporwave – Another ND voter who says he only joined that wagon to save Bozo. He actually had read ND as a bad boy, but seemed to have forgotten that. Suspect and maybe scum. My read hasn’t changed since I last posted

I would expect if EP were scum that scum would defend him. He's been a top wagon all day. But crickets, unless missed it with my travel-reading. So I am a little unsure now

Scum is in Vapor, Kalel, yuuki, Maniac, and maybe rdr if I'm wrong on one of the others.

I haven't really bothered with the SK, but we could probably find them by looking at people who included a new top scum read after N1 (read: they know who Gamora is + would want to scumcase Gamora to get the soul stone)
