I wonder if it could be {dip, darg} with all the dippy theatrics

I did kind of wonder about this, too. Also, Dip just re-explained himself again. It makes me wonder, would town even bother to keep explaining? Personally, if I just had some dumb idea at the beginning, and people kept harping on it, I'd move on and let them vote me if they wanted to. The defensiveness has me putting Dip at the top of the scum pile, I think.

On the other hand, I think there's a problematic bias for towns here that we kill talkative town D1. So it could be a major error feeding into typical bias. I'd expect scum is actually slow-rolling.

In which case, scum is somewhere in Jamie, ghug, maybe Red. People trying not to be noticed.

Talking through it that way, I think Jamie or ghug would be good candidates.

Obviously, narrowing down to 4 out of 8 vote candidates is not amazing, but dip, darg, Jamie, ghug is a helpful pool for me at this stage.

I would say your participation is qualitatively different than Dip's. Dip writes a novel, you write text messages. I guess it's kind of funny that I find both kinds of participation possibly scum indicative, hahaha.

Currently the two wagons are in my POE so it seems likely I will. Will need to cast my ballot in about an hour, too. This locking in thing is actually kind of convenient... I don't feel like I have to reorganize my entire life around EOD!

The "pressure" Darg was under was just DiplomacyandWarfare's punctuation theory. It didn't look like serious pressure to me.

I mean, realistically the one-eyed man in the first scenario is probably better off hiding his power and using it to help himself subtly, since societies tend to burn people who have seemingly supernatural powers.

The point is more perspective, something nobody in this hypothetical world probably handles particularly well.

The "pressure" Darg was under was just DiplomacyandWarfare's punctuation theory. It didn't look like serious pressure to me.

All the more reason to get ticked off at the stupidity and show it a little more than he did. It's more a tiebreaker for me than a strong case.
