My suggestion to anyone who is designing games like this is to have more roles than players. If there were several additional roles that were unassigned and we had no idea if they were or not, it would leave significant gaps in how we’re finding buckets of scum here.

For this reason I am a huge fan of semi-open setups.

I too was in a role madness game as mafia where everyone was members of british parliament and I was a conservative back bencher and had to make up some random name I looked up on google to be the parliament member I was pretending to be. I went to alot of effort.

and for my effort, got killed on Day 1. but not by the town, the day ended in a tie because I unvoted, and because my day did not end with me voting someone, the GM modkilled me and did not warn me - and I had forgotten you cant end the day as an unvote.

I was the GM in that game, lol.

You went to effort that was not required. I provided the scum team (you) with a list of fake names to claim in the event of needing to fake-claim. You, for reasons I still don't understand, chose to do your own research and come up with your own fake name that wasn't on the list, which risked you being mechanically caught if the name you chose was already assigned.

well, not necessarily, bob didn't claim yet, there is a slight possibility that he targeted bunny or mafia and delivered something. Very minor, but that's also why I didn't put frog in there

I noticed that too. Their D1 is scummy in hindsight, they're caught mechanically and their D2 play is scummy again. They wrote some great posts but they're scum.

With my list and the coloured vote count, looking back at my read list from EoN I'm pretty hyped that it looks like I got the game solved with that too.

Well I didn't get all mafia down as lock mafia, but definitely in my POE. I guess I've finally grown a bit better.

I think the game is so close to be totally solved that if we flip scum today (which seems likely) the Mafia team might consider conceding.

well food claims to get a failure message. If lfischl is proven to not be doc, food might be it. But jamie targeted food and returned ECO, which would be sweet if we did it correct now, then why would town food target sweet?

if food lied as town (doc) about his target and actually went for sweet (dooming bunny and making our mass claim error prone) would actually make sense with the failure message

but why? it makes so much less sense with his zealous stance of forcing town to comply

so I still doubt food is town

instead, I suspect one of the success messages were actually a failure message and one intelligent town just switched it around. I would expect worcej to do that, but Brian or BK3K might do that too

I mean, maybe frogster is doc and changed the message, but chaqa was rb'ed so frog is most likely curfew enforcer anyway

so I'd say 80% worcej is doc, 9 % each for Brian and B2D2, 2% for food

if I've outed you worcej, sorry, nice try, but I think we don't need a clever ploy like this anymore, there is too much info out there
