Will is a surprise. I thought for sure they were in the mafia realm of things.
Rivera I kind of feel good that I vibed them as town.
I wonder how much Will was on to the scum plays, especially over the last half of D2. Was he eliminated for driving some players crazy?
I hate to lose someone like Rivera who is strong in the late game.

Yep. Sweet, what made Will so town to you, because I didn't get that sense.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:08 pmI would like to sincerely apologize to Will for misreading him.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:07 pmJeeze I almost yelled at you. But damo did it.
I bet he killed my top Townread.
You killed Will, didn't you??
##VOTE damo
Why tf did you all give damo a gun????
He has unerring aim at Townies.
That said, if Will was your top townread, you have a problem.

I'm actually more suspicious of Sweet assuming Will was the damo kill now that he's wrong than if he'd been right lol.

I don't remember if players can occupy FLEX more than once, but even if they can...keep Damo out of it. What a damning play.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:19 pmI have to assess, just pissed right now.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:09 pmMore that you’ve also freely swung between serious and focused and lost and whatnot and that your misrepresentations aren’t useful.
As for damo, he’s on my list. But I need to sit and compile more. I could see several others including you, sweet, glitter as prime targets.
Do you think damo shooting town (I’m guessing he shot rdr) make him scummier for hitting town, townier for removing a lurker, or neither?
I was not happy when I saw he had the chance to have a gun. Idk what same town players would allow that.

I don't think that's the right play. Have to set those we scumread into RB.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:38 pmI was about to ask why, but I guess RB slots is the answer?
I don't scum read myself, but I voted myself into RB, so I disagree with your premise.
I could imagine shooting Kak, sweetandcool, rdr as reasonable options.
But of course it's damo so he totally shot Will.
Just really missing adequate information since we've had no reveals on anything.

Willing to follow you on this line of thinking as we move forward.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:38 pmPotentially correct, but I don’t see it as likely a priori. I think they’d keep their heads down more. Wait for someone to suggest it. Accept it when it comes their way. Glitter is the only one of those that strikes me as plausible for that profile. But what are you basing that on; there is no information until damo actually comes right out and say, "Yeah, I did that." And I haven't read that far yet.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:43 pmThat's an interesting way to put it.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:40 pmThe confidence you have that scum shot rdr is disturbing. I am confident damo shot Will. Consequently, yes it is easy to be sure scum NK rdr.
However, from the other direction I wouldn't say I am confident scum NK rdr and therefore damo shot Will.
See the difference?
What are the differences though if damo (no alignment known) shot Will or Rivera compared to scum killing the other?

Interesting; so are you suggesting that mafia would be convinced to give town!damo a gun because of the propensity for shooting town? Is that damo's MO?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 pmAlso, I am coming more around to the idea scum would want to empower a possible vig damo (besides themselves obviously).
I think damo's shot is probably NAI. But giving him a gun can't be.
I will have to figure out how he got into that position.

Can you detail the shady stuff? There's one thing that comes to mind but I'm interested in your POV.GlitterBomb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 pmIt was not voting panic. It was paranoia from my first game and seeing shady stuff go down at the last minute. Literally the o my thing so changed was my I/R because my stance on Will shifted and I didn’t like the careless idea of a flash kill, so I wanted no part in that.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:38 pmPotentially correct, but I don’t see it as likely a priori. At this point I also really want to know who bozo visited N1.
I'll claim the dense-cap.

Why do you think she is?ghug wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:31 pmI think she's town, Bunny.GlitterBomb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:30 pmBecause it seemed shady an an opportunistic type move trying to take advantage of the last minutes of voting. So it made it seem like Will had a target on his back. To me.

There's a certain passion that I am reading into this reply. I feel like that question would have been enough. Ask and wait for a response. However, there then comes a list of "Why I am nots..." and I can't tell if these are genuine or manufactured.GlitterBomb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:28 pmHow am I reading as scummiest to you???? I didn’t vote in the player who caused us to lose another town. I wouldn’t hop onto a flash kill. I’ve formed my own opinions and have been feeling out my own people and I’ve also made sure to answer all of your questions as thoroughly as possible, so that’s scummy?! Make it make sense? I was excited that others wanted me to be a PR and decided to advocate for myself as that with a self-vote but sure, I was “passive” (don’t tell Brain I’ve been accused of being that! lol) I’m not emerging to a leadership role or telling everyone how to vote. I just don’t feel like I’m in a position to do that quite yet.

"Didn't hop on the flash kill when we lost a town" definitely irrelevant!
"formed own opinions and feeling out people" that's good!
"Answered all my questions thoroughly" I dunno...I usually expect newbies who work in finance to tell me to fuck off more. When they're scum they try to do what I'm asking so that I don't suspect them.
The other big issues: You didn't break a tie on QB when you had the chance to give it to someone else. All you had to do was not vote for yourself and SOMEONE would have been watcher. It literally can't be worse than nobody (since scum can do no harm with it).
So yeah...scummy. I realize there's 4, and if I'm doing better than I normally do, then I've got 3-4 in my POE. But you're up there.
But really, it’s not super in my nature to come into something and try to take it all in and be immediately assertive. When I feel like I know what I’m talking about, sure. I’ve explained the vote thing. I did not see the other votes come in. I immediately corrected my error when I noticed that. I would’ve had no problem taking my name off of the roster as qb if it was something that would benefit town which it would have if I’d have seen it. But I didn’t. My fault and I apologize. But that does not make me scum. And all of your other “irrelevant” things are super relevant to me, so it’s all opinions.
Although it does remind me a little of town!jamie.

That’s what I did - looked into Will’s most recent speculations. And that led me straight to you. Which I stated last night. And then now you’re posting all of these musing about me…. Interesting.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 2:28 pmWill is a surprise. I thought for sure they were in the mafia realm of things.

You know, that's a pretty interesting point. I've even explicitly said it about bozo. If I am forceful with my read, given how dull my sensibilities are, then wouldn't mafia think, Ïf Brian feels they're town, make the kill?"

Regarding your question that I bolded, yes, I did answer it.GlitterBomb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 17, 2024 5:27 amOk, so I went back and re-read most of Will’s interactions today. And considering there’s a lot we still don’t know about how rdr were killed (gun/nk), I wanted to see if I could find any commonalities in Will’s assessments to suggest that possibly he was getting too close. So that being said, in post 2162 Will shared his theory on Ghug using a code word. And that could totally be plausible. In posts 2185, 2197, 2207 he called out Damo and Ham. Even hilariously giving us the spatula interaction which I did actually lol at when reading! And was it ever answered why Ham sheeped Ghug’s D2 roster, as pointed out by our deceased pal Will? Bozo also raised suspicions of Damo and Ham and I feel as a result he seems to have a decent amount of fingers pointing back at him.
##vote HamiltonBrian
Ghug is one of my townreads. I feel confident enough running with his roster, or I certainly did on D2. Today? I feel like I need to go my own way somewhat.
