Ghug, you have been the lead wagon nearly all day long, and you seem very calm in spite of that.

I am pleased that my words of calming advice have had an effect on your demeanour.

I'm only framing it that way because sweet is and I'm trying to convince him you're scum, not bad.
The implication of what you're saying is that if I'm town, that means I'm playing badly.

Just out of curiosity, could you name a few people that you think are playing well?

I'm still rereading damo, but also I'm looking at house, and also I'm super easily distractible.
I mean, yeah, I think you've been focused on the wrong things and you're still staunchly refusing to commit to reads. If you are town, that's not good play.

On the flip side, Chaqa's playing fairly well if he's town, but I also scumread him. I think sweet is having a solid game regardless of role. I wish he'd be more involved, but rd too.
I think it's worth noting that I'm actually very new at this. The way I think of it is that mafia games have a certain rhythm to them. What I mean by that is that games seem to go like this:
  • people start off just talking
  • they make generally baseless reads
  • they make observations about those reads and then make slightly better reads
and then it basically iterates from there.
I really struggle with D1 because I find that part of the game fairly hard and I don't really like participating in what I consider the "baseless reads" section. I admit that's an important part of starting off the gameplay loop, so I can see why it's not great for me to not contribute much to it.

I also think that really only excuses me for D1 and I've been dropping the ball since then as well. The reality is that it might be overly ambitious to think I can fit playing mafia into my day-to-day life. I'll still put my best effort in for the rest of this game. Though, I'm going out pretty soon to look at open houses, and I might not be back to fairly close to EOD.

I'm about halfway through Damo's ISO (which isn't saying much since it's short). I want to look at a couple more people, but may not have time to.

You know what? I think flipping aaro or damo is going to give me the most information, even if I think Ezio is more likely Mafia.

I prefer to ##VOTE damo

I will, however flip to Aaron if need be.

Sorry, I've been uncharacteristically indecisive today, but I think I'm really set now. damo or aaro, please.

Is nobody bothered about HamB's move off Chaqa when Chaqa was in the lead. Don't find that odd? Curious?

I confess I don't follow your reasoning about most information, but agree that Damo is a better shot then Aaro or Ezio.

I am giving Chaqa a pass because he keeped HM wagon viable with me. I know Chaqa could buss but I think we should look at it just later if Ghug is town.

has damo ever been fundamentally in favor of trusting scumslips?

or to phrase differently has he ever stated he doesn't believe in them?

My thinking is his teammates may have not been in positions to join the Chaqa wagon, so he had to jump ship. Whether that means they were already voting me, or had townread me (the latter would apply to worcej, for example).

I would go the dead billionaire submarine route
Tell you what - I am glad the CEO himself at least died too. Reading the history and lack of safety culture in that company, as an engineer myself, blows my fucking mind.
It's pretty fucked up, isn't it?

Safety? That just gets in the way of innovation!

(Innovation = using a cheap videogame controller to operate a submersible at extreme depths).
That and it was only truly safe for about 1400 meters of depth and it was going to 4000. Then advertising that it was rated for it and met certain safety inspections that never actually happened.

Lots of FUBAR stuff here. Way worse then guns.
