My concern with no kill is we lose someone like Jamiet slot, Llama or tfb to a night kill and have people like Maniac or kak (no offense) in the end game.
Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
Mathematically, it doesn't matter what you lose - never go for it when you're at MiLo, always push scum to KiLoBesharamSabi wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 8:45 pmMy concern with no kill is we lose someone like Jamiet slot, Llama or tfb to a night kill and have people like Maniac or kak (no offense) in the end game.

Why are people voting to end if the purpose is to let subs read? Isn't the point to give them time?

I have not followed the game. I've read all of N3, as well a run through d3. I might do some more, we'll see.TheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 3:59 amHi Macca! How much have you followed the game? Do you have any reads or are you going to be spending today catching up?
My scum list right now is TFB, Maniac, and Sabi. Unsure of the order.

Hi Macca, could you explain your reads on all three of us that you listed? Who are your strongest town reads?Macca573 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:15 amI have not followed the game. He seemed to be defending Damo to the death, all through, staunch protector. But then, at the end, he switches to Damo, no reason given. Why? What was this to achieve, other than to change the perception of his vote to quick lookbacks?
Sabi
The way they were pushing damo seemed disingenuous.
TFB
Frankly, I don't remember. My first scumread was TFB, then I got distracted by other things (Maniac). I don't remember way, just that it was.

Strongest town read would be deathlama. Not much reason, or by much, but he is.

Re: M1021 - Blessings of Lilia - GAME THREAD [hidden]
I was a defender of Damo. My very late switch to him in last few seconds was planned when I saw vote was something like 6 v 3 with Damo not yet voting. IF Damo was scum then Damo voting Bona and a very late scum switch from Damo to Bona would’ve tied the vote. As that was a not zero possibility then covering that move by my late switch seemed the best thing to do. As it turned out Damo was town, no one made a switch and the extra vote on Damo made no difference to the outcome.Macca573 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 7:10 amFor ManiacTheFlyingBoat wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:59 amHi Macca, could you explain your reads on all three of us that you listed? Can you see any reason why scum would do what I did?

Clearly, no one is under a ton of suspicion right now, any scum moving to save Damo like that would have been suicide for both of them.Maniac wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 8:27 amI was a defender of Damo. The difference it does make however, is it shows you wanted more to be perceived as part of the town consciousness, then you wanted to defend a read that wasn't based on thread info you could explain yourself with, but knowing he was town from not being so yourself.
This way, you can claim you have been great protecting town, without being put in the position of needing to answer "why back damo that hard?" Because you didn't back him that hard. You backed him when it served you, then, when being perceived as "part of the pack" served more, you switched.
I'd vote you, but I think there's an important thing around voting No-Kill rn.
#VOTE No Kill
