Yes actually. I think that would be a great reason. Brainbomb doesn't have the ability to play under the radar. Xorxes and Ezio were already taking heat. They'd need to have someone under the radar as the deep threat. NK'ing a townclear that has you as his top scumread seems like a pretty good way to keep you under cover.

I suppose we will find out soon why they NKed Vecna. If it had anything to do with me, it is the exact opposite of what you are speculating, that they NKed Vecna to lock in his scum read of me. rdrivera was scum reading me D1 also, and he actually gave a reason.

GM Observations:

First of all, thank you to all of the players and huge thank you to Tom, he was an awesome co-GM!

I know there were a lot of people against the theme for the game, but I really couldn't ask for the game to come down much closer than a 2-1 with a town observer in bo.

Everyone that was around for M24 knows I like unique elements that adds a level of depth to mafia. I personally think that worked (outside of 3/8 power tags going out D1), and it added a level of risk. While the setup wasn't terribly balanced, it drew close in the end.

I won't be applying to GM another game until M46. Also, without some changes, I won't be running any crazy concepts. People dislike them overall (although I got some people that loved it as well, but different strokes for different folks, and I thank you all for your kind words).

On the setup:

-Nametags were fine overall, outside of my gaff over the weekend.
-Kidnapper is too strong. Maybe only 1 day phase instead of a Day and Night. The double whammy of the DD nametag basically eliminated bo from the game.
