chaqa I could go either way on. the only reason anyone spares chaqa or worcej is out of sympathy for killing them so often— typically for bullshit reasons.

As for what I said in pregame, that isnt the actual game. And it never will be. basing your reads on things said before game size was official; before role pm was sent out, before a more careful analysis of the game itself was final — would be gunboat mafia.

I find it cumbersome im still having to talk about this when I had wanted to limit my posts and just play a normal game. Ive felt very thrown off my game by this stuff and it has dramatically messed with my ability to focus. I spent a huge amount of posts and energy to repeat over and over that you dont play mafia this way. I shouldnt be having to apologize for being flavorful in a channel outside of this actual arena. end of story.

im not gonna talk about it any further because it is exhausting and its like talking to stone statues who just have nothing interesting to say.

Ive even exhausted my examples because no one is bothering to listen to common sense on the topic. If you give me a day or two to just hunt I am confident ill get gunned down by scum in the most natural way I can. by playing well and being towny. It is much harder for me to look towny long term as scum. Eventually my thoughts and reads just start looking like jokes and lack any force.

it has been a long time since I played with Snowy. From what I recall they played very boisterous and acted like they had something to prove. it was quite exciting and I remember durga consistently saying she loved how snowy plays. Snowy was scum in a game I was GM and did a great job of staying alive long term.

I would say what ive seen from snowy so far is town. It isnt what it used to be as far as large posts loaded with content but he is rounding the bases and seems to be calling out a variety of things I hadnt noticed; things I look forward to seeing the answers too. And if it was my life on the line or snowys Id probably opt to die instead of him.

I dont think the LMAO changes the tone of what comes after it.
It makes very little sense to call town bitchmade for playing it safe. I dont know that he truly finds it so funny he is laughing his ass off.

I think it is entirely possible he thinks the setup is stacked against him and finds town to be a bunch of unadventurous bitchmade cowards who he cant help but laugh at because it makes his scum wincon that much harder.

I did not think that we would start the game by trying to force brainbomb to claim either, considering that is historically what everyone has disliked the absolute most about my play: ESPECIALLY Jamie. who absolutely abhors how much I cant resist claiming my roles, my items, and giving away all my info. he hates that. so what motive can he have here other than to do exactly the opposite of what he supposedly wants to do. Which leads me to assume his push on me is personal and for out of game reasons. His attempts to silence me, dismiss my ideas in other places, and in general this type of attitude towards me happens every game like clockwork.

I was just taken aback by the fact that pregame comments are being used to sort the game into a math problem rather than a actual hunt.

The reason I see people pushing you is because we know 9-11 town players picked a rose and what you said you would do regardless of alignment.

If the number was lower, then you wouldn't be in the hot seat like you are.

Ive chosen to fight back because I dont believe in walking away from an argument. Especially when I know Im town and that my death could be one of only two or three miskills before its already game over. If im a cheap freebie then likely one of my voters bites the dust next. I would say theres a good shot ghug, damo and jamie are all town. So if one of them gets sussed after my flip thats probably gonna lead to town getting massacred fast.

Two things I'd like not to see end of D1:

b) immediate kill of brainbomb

Hopefully the sober second thoughts can offer some reconsiderations.

However, the thread so far has felt like when your SO tells you not to squeeze that pimple, but you do it anyway.

I dont particulary have concerns about ghug, rivera, jamie, or damo. I have felt some odd vibes from emc, macca, eden and foodcoats so far. mostly the lack of hunting by those 4.

Plenty of people have yet to "hunt", so to say, so I can only presume you are either implying judgment based on past behavior (which I cannot speak to as I do not know the two) or, the fact that they have *posted*, and not indicated any desire to hunt.

yea to clarify I dont think by merely reading the game transcript so far you could have a solid read on emc or damo. it is definetely based on my own guesswork and past experiences.

nothing damo has done so far has suprised me given what ive seen from him before.

emc has suprised me a little bit by the act of looking around at a few things but mostly just guffawing. nothing he did here resembles actual takes on anyones alignment.
