Is this a fictional representation of a real-life type of animal?

(I've recently realized that "type" is vague in this question. I guess if it's specifically said to be a species of dolphin that doesn't actually exist, that would be a "no", but if it's just generically a dolphin without specification, that would be a "yes".)
