1, 2, 3, 5, 6. Fictional human that has a tail, or a Hungarian Wikipedia article
4. Has not bested another member of its own species in combat (to QM's knowledge)
7, 10. Created 4 June 1920 - 12 March 1999
8, 9. Not first introduced in a movie, TV show, or in a work that was meant to be read

Was this character first introduced as part of a game (video games included), or is this character best-known as a mascot or for advertising purposes?

I think this has come up in the past, but I forget how the commentariat interpreted it. To be clear, I read "has a tail, or a Hungarian Wikipedia article" as "has a tail or has a Hungarian Wikipedia article," not "entity has a tail or the entity is a Hungarian Wikipedia article."

Free guess: Ronald McDonald

If not him: Was this character first introduced after Diplomacy was first released, in 1959?

It is, in fact, Ronald McDonald. Impressive guess with a lot of options still out there.

:D

There are surprisingly (at least to me) few advertising mascots with a Hungarian Wikipedia page.

Next round will be up soon

Next round I'm running I'm choosing an entity that is a Hungarian Wikipedia article.
