Is there a Wikipedia page (under the domain wikipedia.org, in English) about this person?
Yes, but I would avoid asking this question in the future because the answer is almost always guaranteed to be "yes".
Fun fact: one of the picks we had did not have an English Wikipedia entry... but did have a Simple English Wikipedia entry.

So my understanding is that I am required to give a binary answer. I still maintain that my pass was correct, but if I'm forced to choose, I'll say "yes".

1, 5, 7. Real non-male born before 1800-1900
2, 4, 10. Born in North America
3. Dead
6, 13. Not primarily known for involvement in the arts, broadly speaking, or as an inventor, criminal, explorer, or professional speed eater
8. Has a wikipedia page in English
9. Native speaker of English (but was first passed, so answer may not be reliable)
11. Not Native American
12. Not Canadian

Pass: Primarily known for involvement in politics, government, military, or religion?

Born after 1850?

Random thought: asking only "born after" questions would narrow down the birth date to about 18 hours if you spent all 20 questions on it (2000/(2^20)), not that playing this way would be much fun.

Is the person on this list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:19th-century_American_women ?

Edit: Or on any of the following subcategory lists under the above list: 19th-century African-American women‎, 19th-century American women journalists, 19th-century American women politicians‎, or 19th-century American women writers‎?

No, but this only eliminates Puerto Rico and Cuba.

Actually, I'm not going to count Watts's question, because Aristocrat's summary did not mention the "Europe, Canada, or the US" question I had answered yes to.

It was my fault on the summary. There was a question "Born in Europe, Canada, or US" and "Born in North America," so they could only have been born in US + Canada (as long as they're not Canadian - I guess a non-Canadian born in Canada would still be valid).
