He can’t still be alive if he died of natural causes…

There are a small number of medical cases of people dying and being brought back, and if you include fictional cases that becomes a massive number. And then you have your religious figures like Jesus and the Dalai Lama. So it's not impossible

The current Dalai Lama is alive.

Jesus Christ is not a real individual who is still alive.

There is no doubt that the Dalai Lama is alive, and he will tell you that he has died on multiple occasions. There is no doubt that anyone around 2000 years ago will have died, and yet many millions will tell you Jesus lives.
