Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Wow, why is everyone being so self righteous? Saying you are 100% town and that your scum read is 100% scum and that you think you are going to die tonight is not helpful at all.
Also, damo, is that an invitation for us to try to decipher your code, or are you going to tell us it? Whats the point of telling us you have a code and then not telling us what it is? Besides, with the number of codes/fake claims this game, I could really care less about people coding their roles. No matter what your role is, you can code any role you want.

Honestly though, you guys are all weird for ignoring my long ass case on brainbomb and voting jamiet for being jamiet over him.

Squiggs you're right coding proves nothing.
Thanks Bozo.
Back close to EON.
Ignore any posts at that stage, likely to be addled.

New priority list for me. Will be on and off til EoN.

Brainbomb is my main movement here. He's been sooooo hard to read all game, but after yesterday's townflip of Jamie, his voting is highly suspect. There are still some pieces around his interactions with teacher and how much he has put himself out there that make me hesitant, but overall his chaos and voting patterns are not good.
Damo has been contributing more and has had a different vibe than D1 and D2. Seemed to step up to the plate and defended himself well when in pressure. Still has a scummy D1 and D2 though.

It's true, I'm in cahoots with known town! Scumreading me because I threw shade on a single post you made? That's not a case.DoubtingThomas wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 1:25 pmSo like.. I am building a case there. I am saying that it looks like you are working with JamieFoxcastle wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 12:54 pm
LOLOL, see, that looks scummy! Except that it's too scummy to actually be scum, as I don't think scum would make that statement, especially not after having access to some coaching in the mafia QT. Whether or not you scumread me should be based on what I've said and done, not OMGUS. There are plenty of people who scumread me that I still think are town. If you think someone's scum, go build a case.
Aggressive and asshole are two different things. Be aggressive as you want. Don't be an asshole with insults and personal attacks.DoubtingThomas wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 1:25 pmEh... my aggressive attitude is part of the game, so I can try, yes, but I don't think I am obliged to, especially after Jamie's great contribution to creating a ruckus and confusing everyone from the start.
You're making scumreads based on who scumreads you. You're talking like you're the only person who lynched Jamiet. You're talking about how you are most likely to die tonight, even though you're running enough interference for scum that there's no way they'd kill you even if there weren't better options. You're telling people that you're the most townie person here, when the entire point of the game is that no one can prove that.DoubtingThomas wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 1:25 pmThe..what..? what does tunneling myself even mean? Like I am persuading other people to lynch me? I don't get it
Imagine if, instead of talking about yourself, you spent your time scumhunting.
Imagine if, instead of responding to my response to your response to my response, and drawing this out into an even longer conversation about you, you simply didn't respond, because it isn't useful to do so. That's what I'm doing, so please don't expect a response unless you raise some new issues/questions.

One more thing. While I do understand Brainbomb, can you explain your reasoning for Worcej?

Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
I'll be doing a readslist closer to EON, Worcej will have a prime spot in it.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
I look forward to you trying too hard to scum me. At this point, I welcome a NK on me to get people to not waste their votes on me during the day.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
In my case, I actually disagree and my death would confirm to you all my hard claim from today. That way, you can evaluate all the ‘reads’ people are having against me and try to find the forced nature in them. However, all these scum reads leave me most likely to live the night unless the JOAT strikes me.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 20, 2018 1:29 pmWow, why is everyone being so self righteous? We have been fortunate so far that the PRs are still alive and hopefully learning something. I just pray the tracker isn’t hyper focusing one person and is actually learning intel. I also hope the JOAT uses his abilities sometime soon...
To be clear: I do not recommend an early claim from any PR, but you guys need to undersrand your survival chances are going down steadily and if you go down tonight with no information provided, you would have done nothing for us. If you have some intel of value, drop it right at EoD. Claiming too early gives scum opportunity to adjust, claiming too late makes your pressence worthless.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Being so sure about who SK killed and who Scum killed N1 and N2, sounds very scummy to me. BA are you SK or scum? You choose! :)BismarckAlive wrote: ↑Thu Jul 19, 2018 10:57 pmAnd I will reiterate what I think the night action has been to date:
N1 - SK killed Ike, and Mafia killed DrCJG
N2 - SK killed Yav, Mafia tried killing SK, so nothing happened
Now, if that is correct, then SK is killing Town people first, so that is why I assume two Town deaths per night.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
I do not ignore it at all, but I had set down my foot on Jamie which looked like a great vote to me. I also reread Jamie after he died, now with the info in mind that Jamie was town. I saw several good points he made on both Brain and DT. I would have no problem voting Brain next if I am still alive D4.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Anyone else concerned that brainbomb has posted a total of one word in the last 22 hours? You think something happened to him in real life? Maybe Jamie tracked him down in real life and exacted revenge. Very uncharacteristic for BB to be quiet.
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
No I am not worried at all. Brain has just decided that it is best for him and his scum team if he stay silent until EoN this night. Do not worry about Brain. He knows exactly what he is doing!
Re: MAFIA XXXVII: THE WHEEL OF WEB-TIME
Bismarck—Likely town, which is an upgrade. Day 3 has been better and my suspicions of lurking scum are pretty much cleared up. I am not sure what to make of all of his assertions, but I don't see a reason to put him anywhere near a lynchpool.
Bozo—I'm going to upgrade Bozo to maybe not scum. I've found his votes suspect, particularly Day 2, but EOD2 was a mess. I don't think I've ever seen Bozo roll scum, and for whatever reason, his playstyle seems to ping my scumometer. His Day 3 is a little sparse, but pointed. He's still lynchable for me, but I have stronger scumreads.
Brainbomb—Not town. Vecna's case is compelling here, and so I think scum is likely. I also think SK is an option. It is hard to tell with Brainbomb, but his Day 3 play also made me think he was scum.
Damo—Probably town, since I am not sure I can read anything scummy out of his posts. I don't know, though, and this is one of the last reads I did as I'm running out of time.
Squiggs—A very strong start that has tapered off somewhat, but still doing a lot of good hunting. Town.
Doubting Thomas—This has to be town, right? I cannot believe scum would play the way DT played Day 3 and through Night 3...
Flash—Also probably town, for lack of anything to actually rate him as scummy on and lack of time.
Peterlund—Town. As I've said before, I don't believe that Teacher would PR claim if it meant risking shifting the lynch onto a scummate.
Rdrivera—Slipping from a town lean to null. He doesn't post much, but several of his posts are more than just showing up, and he's putting reads out, although it would be nice to see a complete reads list. I know he's he's not a high volume poster in general, and I'm pretty sure that was true whether he was scum or town. I am not sure why he would believe Worcej's fake-crumbing VT hardclaim enough to unvote. His vote on Teacher was at a critical point, and given Teacher was the ninja, I don't think scum would bus at that moment if it meant pushing him over the edge.
Vecna—Town. There are a couple of things I don't like about his play (going after Peter from what seemed like a joke at pre-game, for one), but I cannot find anything in Vecna's play that makes me think he's not town.
Worcej—Scum. He's been on my radar since Day 1, when he was present but not really contributing. I don't think that's changed. I just don't see scumhunting, and I see a lot of hedging, particularly remaining ambiguous on who his reads are. Also, who is his hard claim as Vanilla Town (p. 83) supposed to convince? That seems like trying to hard to clear himself; I think it's scum thinking "how can convince people I'm town" rather than town thinking "how can I catch scum"? Inviting people to vote for him and then self-voting to "prove" he's townie (because we'll see after he flips! then we'll be sorry! or something...) seems like a terrible town strategy, and seems like maybe scum is thinking that town won't take you up on your dare.
TL;DR on his voting... He and Teacher voted nearly exactly together. On Day 1, he helped bring up the Peter wagon and then helped lynch thedipplayer, which I think was an effort to protect Brainbomb. He said his early Day 2 joke on Jamiet was a joke vote, but then in the chaos jumped back on Jamiet. Day 3, actually stated that both Brain and Jamiet were townleans for him, and then with 24 hours to go voted Jamiet, and then never moved his vote.
His voting record is not reassuring. Day 1 looks like he's sheeping Teacher. Look at this:
45:39, Teacher votes DrCJG
44:31, Worcej votes DrCJG (the immediate next vote after Teacher)
2:19, Teacher votes Peterlund
1:13, Worcej votes Peterlund (5 intervening votes)
0:45, Teacher moves off Peterlund to thedipplayer
0:40, Teacher reiterates his vote on thedipplayer (there is one intervening vote from Bozo)
0:31, Worcej moves from peter to thedipplayer (the immediate next vote after Teacher)
I don't buy his claim that his D1 vote on thedipplayer was to avoid a tie, there were still more than 30 minutes to go. Also, after thedipplayer's flip on Day 1, he said "Saw that one coming - always a VT who dies first it seems." Which... why would you throw that out there after voting for that wagon?
Day 2 isn't much better.
Worcej starts out on Jamiet, where he sits until 6 hours before EOD. This was a joke post (see p. 53 where he moves his vote to Peterlund). Interestingly, Teacher is the exact next player to cast a vote, on Brainbomb.
6:17, Teacher unvotes
5:45, Worcej moves to Peterlund (there is one vote in between from Rdrivera)
5:01, Teacher moves to Peterlund (this is the immediate next vote)
And then in the end of day chaos...
0:01, Worcej moves to Jamiet
0:01, Teacher moves to Jamiet (there are two intervening posts, but this is the immediate next vote)
He and Teacher were voting in tandem.
And then Day 3, starts out with this weird claim that he's somehow proved himself to be Vanilla Townie, but then goes ahead and self-votes anyway?
I think it's ironic that when he did change his vote to Jamiet, it was partly for Jamiet being weird... Ha.
Bozo—I'm going to upgrade Bozo to maybe not scum. I've found his votes suspect, particularly Day 2, but EOD2 was a mess.
