In the jagged coasts and narrows seas on the far side of the Atlantic Wastes, there exists the Delaware Peninsula. There, a group of enterprising and gritty people have built a sizable industrial and fishing community - the city of Philadelphos. Part of the larger Washington League, this burgeoning powerhouse of the West Atlantic has become renowned for their military prowess. Their crowning jewel were the Hoagie Marines, named after the staple sandwich popular amongst the working class and the sailors of the region."

Jimothy sighed and put the book down. It was just making him hungry. He had spent the day carving as small listening hole in the corner of his ceiling, just small enough to place a cup up to and hear the commotion abovedeck. He heard Captain Fredbeard yell at Shelly Timbers and calling her a coward, while Father Diego loudly called for peace and reason lest he need to put the fury of God into someone.

The cup jammed into Jimothy's ear as something heavy landed on the other side of the boards, just above.

"This one, then!" said the Captain. Jimothy could someone say "I swear it isn't me, Captain! I'm no Royal Dog! Fuck the King! He comes around, does whatever he wants... no care for what happens to us!"

"Maybe you're right, Seymour. But I'm a man of action, and a man of the people!" the Captain cheers and so do the other crew.

Jimothy hung his head.

Later, after it was done, the Captain came down to talk.

"Was he one of the Royalists?" asked Jimothy.

The Captain didn't answer. The boat would soon dock in Etseirt for the night. Jimothy updated his map...
