Im suggesting the mafia mopped up emc vig

and kit was sent away by their own team because they got a gun

mafia can use codes to signal. we did it in a number of games
theres codes for janitor and codes for item receipt

first letter of first post = c (means you got a gun)
first letter of second word 3rd post = d (means you got a cop scan)
fourth letter of post 1 = janitor result (B = We got the vig)

the way this would look to anyone else would seem very benign

This is the edge case I was thinking about, though I didn't think that they needed to get the gun via the item smith to try it. janitor!Jamie might've thought they could run the gambit if they closeted vig!emc.

It would be very high risk to do that, though, because if Jamie doesn't shoot he becomes highly suspect.

But anyhoo that's why I'm so interested to see if the shot goes off.
