We knew there was a driver because kitsune informed us she got messages saying such (and that she got them late).

BM scum slipped by saying he knew that dargo wasn't the mafia target and the primary target should be worried.

Then the driver confessed that indeed dargo wasn't the target; his "first choice kill" as scum was the target (xorxes) and he saved him by driving.

We should change one of their usernames for our convenience.

Another note: Kitsune could be pulling this off as well (assassin would know the roles and could guess at actions) but would be hard to know the driver messages were sent late.

Ooooh.. fun stuff happened! I misread what I thought Kitsune/Xorxes were doing earlier, but this is still good (although assassin could be uncomfortably close to knowing his/her targets).

Last phase we had a scum slip from town, so I'm cautious about lynching Bionic Mole based on his comment, but I'll place my vote here until we get an explanation from him. I think I'm done with homework for today but I'm exhausted so I'm not sure if I'm gonna iso tonight.

It's not the end of N1 yet, but yes, I've been sober since 30th September. Easily the longest period of sobriety for me in the last 4 or 5 years. I'm not sober anymore. So far this evening I've had three Double Maxims, two Jagerbombs, and a Hand Grenade...

Xorxes isn't mafia because he was the NK target.

He's been hunting, but sheeping. He's been passively scared of being found at times, but actively hunting other scum. I've just had an off vibe, but he's no mafia.

Vaporwave I'm all over the map on. I'm just as likely to think hardcore town one minute and scummiest scum the next. So that suggests to me someone who is both. No actual good reason, just my radar going bonkers suggesting something weird.

I was thinking that I would keep my power quiet and use it night after night. But this revelation does give town info that we can use to do some deducing.

It seems like you are saying that you think someone who is acting scummy but hunting is assassin. Any scum (3p or mafia) could fit this category, since mafia can hunt for 3p, and 3p hunt for mafia. Your xorxes as 3p could make sense, but why label him as assassin and not infector? Unless you know he's not infector because YOU are the infector?

I received PM confirmation of the Driver power at work, which presumably means the swapped persons and the driver can confirm this took place last night.

The swapped persons should keep quiet for now in case someone claims Driver and needs to be confirmed.

This opens up the possibility that damo was driven after all and the bullet was meant for someone else.

Okay, I see something going on here... Can somebody please explain further how we knew there was a driver and whatnot, and how we got to that point while I do some reading and see if I can work it out too? And come to a decision on whether or not BM's scum? Although it's not looking great for him...

Are you done reading? Did you figure it out yet?

When the Driver claims, they say who they swapped, and the swapped person can confirm that they were swapped. If damo was the Driver and scum stole his role, then they could claim Driver but they wouldn't know who damo drove.



We won't know that for sure until we know if damo was one of the swapped persons.

Why are you helping his scum slip?

I don't know if it was a scumslip, I want to know more.

I'm glad to see some pause and rationality here.
