ND likes to try different persona... not sure what to make of this one, but it's pretty bursty and angry. Is that AI?

Catching up on the thread now. It's been a pretty busy week for me, so my engagement has been low. I'll have more free time on D2 and onwards.

I don't know... I read through today only once... my general feeling was that you burst things out... and seem angry... I will sleep and read your thoughts, and respond tomorrow.ND wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:39 amYou disagree with my reads Darg?dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:36 amWhatever ND had for breakfast, he shouldn't have.

@Chippe
Can you explain to me why you were SO forceful and pushy that we NOT lynch Flavius? Beyond just that you 'felt' he was town... I mean, what ended up happening is that we DID misslynch a town, right?
It's D1... why were you not just sorta sure... but REALLY LOUDLY sure?
I would expect this kind of pressure on D3... but D1? Help me understand you.

And finally... before I give up and finish my bourbon and go to bed...
@Nephthys... I have read your gut reads in the Godthread in other games. And I have said to myself that I should sheep you. You don't TELL us your gutreads very concisely... I hope you do so before the EoN...

If he did it once already, he'll probably try something again this game.Durga wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:18 pmThere's something to be said about you responding to a post that's multiple sentences with that last line. Something absolutely hilarious. All you've contributed is fucking garbage and an apparent attempt to cheat or lie. Since it's apparently not cheating, I'm going with lying. I should never have excused your actions at the beginning of the game.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:15 pmI've contributed more to this game than you have. Don't be hypocritical. At least my posts aren't all 1-2 sentences long.Durga wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 8:14 pm
Oh yeah because my push on Neph was so indicative of my desire to blend in. Just shut up you lying scummy asshole. Go talk to your scum friends and leave us alone so we can figure out the game. Lord knows if you're somehow town you'll never be able to do it.
In fact - I've seen no indication of your desire to game solve beyond your vitriol at other players for apparently not game solving. You point fingers and claim someone is scummy for actions that are actually either townie or NAI. And that's all you've "contributed".
Imo, his posting has been a lot better once he stopped with the whole VT thing. He's one of the top contributors. Whether or not you disagree with the content of his posts, it's certainly moving discussion along.
None of that changes the fact that doesn't change the fact that he likely* tried gaming the system.
*We don't know for sure. Per Worcej's post, "Chippe has yet to break any rules" ... but Worcej also said he "can't say yes or no to" to whether Chippe's vagueness was a contributing factor to the lack of cheating.

Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
I felt that bozo and Flav was Town v. Town - but I felt more confident Flav was more town than bozo. So I tried getting a wagon on someone who I felt was actually scum: TrPrado. However, when I realized this was destined to fail & the wagon was going no where, I decided to lynch the scummiest of the remaining logical options: Flav vs bozo. Even though I felt both were town, I felt bozo was scummier than Flav was, and as a result, I decided to lynch bozo over Flav because bozo was more likely to be scum.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:47 am@Chippe

If we had had more time so that we could get that TrPrado wagon going, I would of stuck with it. Or if that Durga wagon had turned into something.

logical = there's a reasonable chance that they would get lynched if I voted for themChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:53 amI felt that bozo and Flav was Town v. Durga, me, bozo, and teacon (sort of) were all open to policy lynching. I'm sure there were others.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 1:06 amANYONE who is calm after we just killed a lurker day one AFTER EVERYONE SAID NOT TOOBalki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 1:04 amSo much fighting. Be nice. Be respectful. Find scum.
I don’t think we’re helping ourselves with the personal attacks. It’s frankly turning me off from the game, and I’m probably not the only one. We don’t need to insult each other personally to make a point.

Oh, and yeah...
NOT just because she sent me a heart... but what exactly is scummy about Durga? I don't see it.
Durga is involved, and arguing without excessive anger/defensive. This feels like townie Durga to me.
Her explanation about D1 tracks with reality...
So convince me.

You still havent responded as to why thinking TrPrado is a scum is bad
If it weren't for the fact that I have trouble seeing mafia do all the work he did, given its low potential reward, I'd be sure he's mafia.
What are you seeing that I'm not? Where am I off-base?

What are you talking about? She got so butthurt she refused to answer a perfectly logical question of mine and said she would stop talking to me. But whatever you say, that's not excessive anger in any way.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:58 amOh, and yeah...

Thanks, I think I follow that. I'll respond in the morning... if I don't nudge me, please. I don't think I agree with your reasoning... but let's talk.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:53 amI felt that bozo and Flav was Town v. I didn't want a tie. I personally didn't want either Flav or bozo to die but what can I do.

I think you came into the game with some prejudice against you... including Durga. I get her reaction... and yes, NOT answering is not excessive anger.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:00 amWhat are you talking about? I thought the wall post he made was pretty townie. Assuming the analysis he posts later is along the same lines, I'd say that's more pro-town evidence
