Because it forces scum to come up with lies from the start, which they then have to maintain, probably even before they have a chance to coordinate.

Sure but they could say literally anything, right? So they'd avoid claiming to be something that could be disproven.

Even doing that can be tricky.

You probably won't ever be able to fully convince me of your reads, but you can convince me that you're town, which is way more important.

I know its last game
but my herculean undertaking was to convince not just you, but sarah that damo ans worcej were scum. I was unable to do this. and I simply wont lose another game in that way. so whatever I have to do im going to try my ass off to make cases that blow your mind
