pregame rivera and I talked about pregame guesses for scumteams.

My guesses were kak-hamilton-vecna
his guesses were ezio-jamie-sweetandcool

we then both talked about what scumtells those people have.
I mentioned that Jamie has consistent scumtells of asking alot of meaningless questions. I said I had no recent meta on ezio scumgame, and then rivera talked about sweet and cool having never been scum, rivera said "I want to see sweet as scum" and he said ezio is traditionally just hard to read.

we then talked about my scumleans rivera said kak is an easy pick as scum, and hamilton he didnt remember much about him as scum. he said vecna is a dangerous powerwolf, and that he has to read vecna in isolation. that if he cant read vecna or vecna isnt obviously town at some point then vecna is probably scum.

overall rivera was willing to discuss this stuff, and I like that. I waivered on if he was mafia for a while in pregame. I thought maybe he was too willing to have this convo that was rooted in gunboat style. But looking back, this is probably the only thing pro town we couldve done in pregame chat was to discuss what we know together.

Actually it's quite clever. Because now we have a WIFOM of whether rdr is town due to the impossibility of his picks, or just clever scum.

My impression of damo is that he really "blooms" when there is some hot actionable content. Before that, he is a low poster who is pretty well in the background.

In M79 when he was scum, he stayed a wallflower throughout the game. He also said some things that baffled me into thinking he was vanilla cop.

So rdrivera, to that point. I didnt make any such statements about Jamie nor say he is too calm. And he attacked me anyway. the things he said my direction were pretty hostile and I was just joking around in voting him at the time.

I didn't say you have done it. I said people have done it with you before (you are calm and not spamming the thread you must be scum). And with Wircej, which makes me find more weird he using this with Jamiet.

How is Jamie not a last minute voter? His first vote for HB was with 13 minutes left in the phase, jumped off to not get a tie, then back on in the last second. Nothing about his vote should give him town credit.

Otherwise - if you don’t like meta reads, I am sorry. But some people are very easy to get a reaction from on certain items and it helps sort them out when they’ve done nothing additional to really make themselves be town.

He voted Ghug and then moved back to HB. Unless both HB and Ghug are scum (a possibility) I don't see scum Jamiet doing this. Anyway, I prefer to flip Ghug first in this case.

I don't have nothing against Meta reads and I used it a lot. I don't like meta that is about people being abusive somehow. There is a big difference.

Jamie and you misunderstand my point extensively: I didn’t say that Jamie didn’t turn into a “see you next Tuesday” - it was that he didn’t react at all about it.

Look back on the whole Bunny just doing +1’s and how he reacted - it wasn’t abusive or mean, but it was annoyance. I would expect a level of annoyance from Jamie with the memes and then all the mech talk, but he didn’t engage at all.

Truth be told - I think Jamie’s blow up here is fake because at no point did I imply I expected him to be an asshole, it was that he didn’t react period.

Ok, this is more fair play, but I can see why Jamiet feel this is about him being more calm.
