It's actually a pretty great development. A living town clear is extremely useful and we still have several ways to protect you. Also, it tells us something about DrC that he passed the box to you. Also, we know that at least as of the third box recipient, the box had not been given to mafia for them to circulate among themselves. Also, you were not widely townread before your live flip.

Oracle reveals the alignment of the box owner. It would be better if it was a scum, but clearing someone mildly scumread isn't a bad outcome.

You cannot choose someone for your Oracle reveal. When you pass on the box, rather than getting an item, the item itself is that your alignment is revealed to all.

I assumed an "Oracle Reveal" was an item that turned you into an Oracle. Apparently that's not the case.

I did not oracle Squigs - I think that is the item he or DrCJG drew.

1. Shouldn't Squigs have known he was revealing himself? He's clear so idk what it means, but it's weird that he'd be confused too.
