The only person you're truly competing against, Wesley, is yourself.

Damo have a personal town ping to me, one of the reasons I think he is town.Byz wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:57 pmThat's a good question that I don't have an answer to. But it's already common for me D1 to not have a hard preference, just several slots I have decided to avoid, and that's before the slanking. I honestly don't have a solid scumread rn.
I'm digging into Jamiet and Eden D2. It'll also be nice for two people to die so I never have to read their posts. In the meantime my preference would be targeting anyone with a high signal to noise ratio, who don't have significant town pings. That's my best +EV play at the moment.
Apparently Damo qualifies, so I guess but there

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
If anyone needs a better read personally.
I'm used to being stabbed in the back (sometimes after years of friendhsip) by people who say kind words to my face. So I bring that experience to this with my inclination to trust people who are skeptical of me vs people who are 100% certain I'm town. (which to begin with, I feel is dangerous to 100% cleaer someone for the reasons Bona related to during that one game with Byz)
I also like death games and admittedly in the beginning, approached this from the perspective of being one, i.e. we're all in a room together, and if we die in the game we're going to die for real. That's honestly my only familiarity with Mafia, in the context of Werewolf being in a death game manga or two.
I like high stakes death games and gambles, I'd be terrible at them, but its a lifestyle i've always wanted to live. I Want to live out the plot of Gambling Apocalypse Kaiji meets Kakegurui meets Liar Game. I also like fair play mysteries, and have a pretty decent track record at solving them (when I recognize that they're there, there was a game I played that had a legitimately brilliant fair play mystery, but I wrote off all the clues as setting fluff). I'm less good at this in social in real social situations, I have a shitty track record at detecting people who are secretly planning to betray me for real.
Squid Game is overrated. I will not back down or bend my opinion on this. Fight me.

I made some comment on pyxxy somewhere, but it mightve just been the princess neon invitation thing, which is nai.BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 4:10 pmMe and Eden are fine now, he finally found me as town after all that drama. Something something skill issue.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 3:46 pmTheres definately something certain people tend to pick up on after enough exposure, although im not quite sure what it is. The statement is consistent though, Darg claims to be able to read me every game (and I also think he singled me out correctly in my last game as non-town).BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:08 am
Do you think you have a tell like Darg said you do?
Also hi Vecna, I missed u
Also, hi, likewise. We can do that solve/towncore-y thing u were talking about before.
You and Eden just need to chill and steer clear of eachother. Both probably town, just a mismatch in personalities.
You are invited to the towncore.
What are your thoughts on pyxxy and damo.
Pretty sure they are both null to me, which with all the positive vibes all over the room isnt a particular good thing.

Jamie has no chill in any situation (love you Jimmit).Byz wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 12:42 pmI like Jaime pestering me and others about his own wagon, a scum is more likely to just say "oh, fair enough, but you're wrong" Usually. Depends on meta.
Still see my original reasons to vote as good ones. Jamie doesn't seem super interested in original scumhunting. Which I'm just gonna be less forgiving of if there's a lot of noise in the thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you bandwagon voted Eden and then just parked there all day, right?

Can you give me some more context about Damo as a player here?President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:54 pmWell if that’s the criterion then I can see why damo’s being run up, but you’ll flip town damo just as well as mafia damo doing that

It wasn't subtle?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:09 pmIs that a subtle threat?Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:07 pmDo you want us to help you out with thatBesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:03 pm(I forgot I signed up for a fourth game that starts today so yea less time )

##VOTE ChaqaChaqa wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:26 pmNo, it said he was on our team JamieJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 1:19 pmChaqa has looked at the list of team-mates provided in the Mafia Chatroom and has noticed that Vecna's name is not included. Simple.
Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
Ok I propose we kill one of Eden and Neon because in my current mental state I was capable of believing that this entire exchange was Eden talking to himself.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 3:15 pmThis is an interesting observation.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 3:12 pmyour wagon of choice is tied for the lead though? And is de facto in the lead because if Chaqa doesn’t happen I’m probably switching to celaph out of those.
I think the bo wagon is doo doo trash but the others are reasonable
@Prince S. Neon: Why did you complain that the wagons "hurt" you when the wagon that you are voting for is one of the leading ones?
Which of the other wagons causes you pain? Are you worried to see that I am a wagon despite how obviously heroic and innocent I am?

Re: MAFIA 75: TROUBLE AT THE PRECINCT [HIDDEN]
You mean aside from announcing he was rand/meme voting me, then coming up with a flimsy tone excuse for it to “actually be real,” then constantly shifting the goalposts to find new inventive reasons why his read is still okay and never actually reassessing in light of everything else that has happened since?BesharamSabi wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:56 pmYou’re going to flip Byz just as likely so then what? I isoed Byz and he doesn’t seem agenda driven in this game like he did in Bona game.President Eden wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 5:54 pmWell if that’s the criterion then I can see why damo’s being run up, but you’ll flip town damo just as well as mafia damo doing that
This just makes me doubt your ability to spot agenda driven behavior lol. I even stopped needling him and gave him the night off to come back and reassess in the event that I had actually been egging on a stubborn prideful townie to double down on his read. His read is clearly not naturally evolving with the thread. And he’s now on damo based entirely on your claims, despite never having expressed any opinion on you one way or another that would indicate he should be blindly trusting you the way he is.
