However, I sense you're trying to make a case out of me (precisely speaking, out of the fact that I voted no-lynch D1) in the situation where I gave a clear, and to my eye, convincing explanation why I had chosen such an option.

Yav, this is a genuine criticism for you to weigh later on and has nothing to do with my role or yours, but you need to understand the mechanics of a mafia game before you play again, and then you need to understand the individual setups within the grander scope of mafia before you play each game.
