Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
Okay, so it seems like either Bunny is the last scum and missed his chance to submit a NK or it's one of Vecna or Tom (or me) and they chose not to NK, presumably trying to set up Bunny.
My initial thought is that it was the first. I don't think I have to repeat why I think the Neph/Bunny slot is likely scum, but there are posts here and here that mostly cover it, and I think that the Bunny/Chaqa interaction on page 76 could easily be scum theater.
But, I could also see Vecna or Tom trying to frame Bunny by making it look like he didn't have time to get the kill in. I do not agree at all with Vecna that his actions "clear" him, and his argument that he'd never try to save Chaqa if they were partners seems like a way for scum!Vecna to earn towncred, especially after I townread him for how hard he defended damo.
Still, Tom seems more likely scum than Vecna, largely based on my increased suspicion of him near the end of D5 and this post by Tom:
@Bunny, if you're town, please keep this in mind tomorrow (assuming you're not the NK, which - duh). In M54 you and xorxes killed everyone that suspected him, and imo this is a really similar situation. Especially since damo and Chaqa were getting a lot of heat, scum!Tom would have needed to maximize his chances of avoiding a lynch.
I'll keep looking at things with whatever time I have left, but as of now I think the most likely final scum is in the order: Bunny - Tom - Vecna
Good luck town!

Scum!Tom could be setting up Bunny for the final mislynch and simultaneously giving himself an excuse to be alive when it's 2-1. It's also pretty telling how many people who were NK'ed scumread Tom. Tom was apparently Rivera's strongest scumread, and if Tom is scum then summit's reads, including a Tom scumread, were spot-on. Bozo brought this all up and was suspicious of Tom himself. Every NK target who wasn't an un-CC'd PR scumread Tom...Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 9:20 pmMakes me a bit more suspicious of Bunny tbh. That flip makes me look worse, and that mean me I’m designed to be alive at the end (possibly because they need someone who won’t immediately lynch Bunny)

Chomping on a breakfast twinkie, the portly shopkeeper prepared to open up for the morning. He frowned as he spotted something.
"Ewwww, what is this horrible slime? It's all over the cover of Condiment King issue number seven! I can hardly describe this as "mint" anymore.
He turned around and let out a scream as the tentacled horror descended on him.
TOM BOMBADIL is dead - he was Comic Book Guy, the Vanilla Town!
DAY EIGHT HAS STARTED - YOU MAY POST

GM NOTE:
"Condiment King" was a real DC Comics character - a particularly bizarre foe of Batman.

Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
this is probably one of the first times im sad I wasnt killed
Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
if bunny is scum here, that kill was some really good wifom.
Tom was townreading bunny the hardest of all of us. If bunny is scum and he shot me, he would have a decent shot to bank on Tom's townread and paranoia of Kgray still being alive.
Kgray stated I was her biggest townread alive. I stated before that Kgray was my biggest townread as well. I did also state that if Kgray survived to the 3way id lynch her, but that was really just me hoping she -would- still be alive to make this easy. Joke's on me, because this aint going to be easy at all. Probably easier than having bunny vs Tom though.
Regardless, killing tom looks like a pretty suicidal nightkill from bunny, which effectively gives him lower odds of winning than both other nightkill options

But are you surprised that you and I were saved?
Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
Hmm. This is not smart scum vecna. Smart scum vecna would realize I was sure all this was kgray and he could easily convince me to vote to lynch her.Vecna wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2020 12:04 pmif bunny is scum here, that kill was some really good wifom.

Kgray had made hard calls that I was scummy, but if vecna is scum she’s the more likely of the two of us to think it through and go right.
Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
Let me say the indicators that kgray is scum:
Why the long pause in her voting no lynch and then end? She was checking with GM about rules.
Why save me? And you? To set me as the counter wagon. Keeping tom would not work as we had town read each other.
I hope you considered how surprised you’d be with every kill. If vecna had died, I’d have been confused. Kgray wouldn’t have been so foolish. But if Tom died, this was obvious.

Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
There was no way that kgray would die. Either she was scum or the scum would be trying to get me to lynch her. I did consider what to think there, but I decided I’d have to start fresh because a smart scum tom would have realized that he should leave me and kgray. Same with a smart scum vecna.
Re: M1011 - Revenge of the Space Mutants - Game Thread
So. If I assume the two cases are:
1) kgray is scum
2) vecna is a smart scum who realized I’d jump on kgray and she on me. But smart scum vecna would wait for us to get this going.
