My goal this game is to get as low investment as possible, give my opinions, and if people dont agree - for once just not really worry about it.

Because me keeping mech and information to myself is like “never” a thing. This has never been true for almost a decade and Jamie has famously said brain will cream his pants blurting out any form of information he has about the game without any consideration.

just because we see the same people as town doesn't mean we're both town. Heck, it could very well be that a mafia has slipped into the towncore and their maf partner follows the consensus.

I also like the company I'm with on your wagon, so that's looking very good. I do feel, however, that with the votecount suddenly so stagnant, and you leading that much over everyone else, that mafia is very pleased right now. So I guess that's a big point for you being town. Unpopular opinion but Civ 6 is fun. Its not the same gameplay loop as 5 but saying its unfun is not true

Only an unpopular opinion in the weird circle of the internet WebDip exists in. Civ 6 is widely viewed as a vastly superior game.

Civ 5 punished you for building a civilization. It just wanted you to build a Tri-City area. Civ 6 is like Civ 4 in that it feels like you're progressing outward and expanding.

to be fair, 7 is newly out and isn't finished like the other games. The other things I dislike is the UI, and the monetization from it. It began with 6, but the anthology package was a great offer, so I took that, and never regretted buying it.

for 7, it still has time to improve, and I hope past developments are repeated. But as is, 7 is not only vastly overpriced, but an inferior product

What is why? I'm against keeping potatoes secret. I support revealing and tracking them. Mafia can't hold them forever and they must eventually get rid of them. Both couch and hot potatos. In my post I only want brain to vote somewhere else and implicitly defend revealing couch potato for future holders.

what have we learned? What is the incentive to do anything for those phases? People will just ignore you, or at least feel no danger from you. You can't really impact decisions.

But with the threat alone of your vote, and the information if people knew who shouldn't, you can get information about others. I don't say "do not claim". I'm saying "claim towards the end of the day". 15, 10 minutes before EoD would be great. Earlier if you can't be there for EoD. But it gives such a card blanc to just do nothing when you claim early

No, Jamie is right and this is a terrible thing to encourage. If town has the couch potato, they need to keep it quiet and play the game. Late in the day they can move their vote and claim it. We do not need the mafia to know that a wagon against them is false, and similarly, just as I’ve done reading Kaka’s latest this morning, we gather useful information when town faces pressure too. We do not need to simply exclude ourselves from the game for a day because our vote is useless, and on the other side mafia should be forced to continue making decisions.

If someone has the couch potato and uses that as an excuse to take off we should happily daykill them the following day. Town shouldn’t even consider it.

miminena nearly died yesterday, but revealed to have the sweet potato, after which we pivoted onto ND who flipped town
miminena is more or less confirmed to have had the sweet potato; however, this comes with some complications
first, miminena could have had the sweet potato as maf
second, miminena seemed to show up at a VERY convenient time to swing a vote, with prior knowledge of everything that was happening despite not having posted for a while
third, miminena passed the sweet potato to bozo, so they can't both be mafia.
point 2 makes me think mimi would be scum but point 3 suggests town
