I've decided that ND (Bona) could be scum.

ND's strategy actually halfway worked last time as Mafia. Several people townread him for his antics. So I'm thinking this game he decided to resurrect that strategy, banking on the fact that people would assume he wouldn't be so obvious about using his previous scum-strategy, and therefore would townread him.

This feels like some very forced reasoning. ##vote Sweet just to get out of the no kill vote for now

I still think this seems like a bus. I don't think there was anything inherently wrong with sweetandcool's reasoning, except to maybe those who knew it was fabricated.

So far I scumread worcej and ND. Why? Worcej and ND have been playing really weirdly comparatively to the last game. Especially ND. He completely dipped after we pointed out his unusual actions.

What's different about worcej to you?

I’m not actually entirely sure, whenever I meet someone new I kind of store a version of them in my head, and whenever someone deviates from said version I can kind of sense it.

Call it a stupid gut feeling but somethings just off with Worcej

This feels forced to me because literally I was gone most of D1 last game and didn't really do anything, so simply existing in this phase and posting is different than the one game version.

Didn't you disappear last game too? I hardly recall you in that game.

This interaction could be between 3 mafia, but I think ghug is more likely than worcej as an early sweetandcool busser.

Even after pointing out sweetandcool's potential pocketing, and sweetandcool voting for Just, Just chose Macca over sweetandcool. I believe this is what led SpiritoftheRadio to vote for sweetandcool, suspecting sweetandcool and Just were both mafia.

I thought this post made Just seemed more likely to be town, but I do not think it is conclusive. Being concerned about being the next DK if/when sweetandcool flips mafia is something a mafia should be more concerned about.

Will wasnt seeming scummy to me until now. Sweet would bus his scum buddy, will would probably not without coaching. This vote is indiciative of a scum will to me. Bunny also seems really scummy and unpleasant. But she is going hard for will, idk her meta. I also kind of like voting sweet because he is playing like a mafia who is bussing his teammate. But I'm between will and sweet atm for a vote switch

I think it is probably true that the other mafia would not try to actively save Temasek there, and would be more likely to bus. However, when HB flipped town, my reaction was regret that we did not DK Temasek, not a conclusion Temasek was probably town. If Temasek is mafia, your vote to make it 4-3 seems like it could have been a bus.

In the case where Temasek is mafia, that only leave 2 mafia to be apathetic about the D2 DK. If a player not online like Just is one, that only leaves one mafia, not enough to significantly affect the level of apathy.

Like, look: I was with you on Temasek. Very suspicious, pretty much no meaningful activity. That said, he's effectively a new player and likely just not good at the game, which means there's a blind spot there, and that's not an EoD that screams to me "guess we picked wrong, let's get the other one instead".

I voiced my Chaqa townread during D2. I don't think he would be this lazy as scum. I also think his play is detrimental to town, so I'd like him to change it.

The first is that you seem confident Chaqa is town, the second is that you implied the mafia were apathetic about D2 EOD, which would apply to Chaqa.

I can see general apathy and also specifically think that Chaqa is town. I find people who were here and didn't actually seem invested in affecting the outcome more suspicious than those who were simply absent, and there's a meta history of Chaqa being more invested as scum.

Using this post to hammer some thoughts out...

I'm going to miss EoN due to driving up for my business trip, but I've been really reflecting a lot on Chaqa this phase. I'm torn on how to analyze him, mostly because he has a wide style of play and has demonstrated it as either alignment. For this game: Is he being just non-interested town or is he lurking intentionally to avoid DK's as scum?

I am recalling him send messages in the past when I GM'ed of him intentionally doing nothing early because he didn't want to die and then suddenly stepping his game up when he was both alignments and I'm troubled by it. He's the one player I always have to really deep-think on more than anyone else in our community.

If I die here, don't forget about Chaqa. And flip Macca at some point before it's too late and she's just town being meh.
