Why do you think it’s weird for me to defend my townreads? Why do you think it’s weird that I want to assess your thought process on why emc’s post troubles you?

I don’t even know what you are trying to make a point about with that second question
I don't know if it's weird but it's certainly counter productive.

The way people respond to questioning and pressure can be revealing. That pressure is greatly reduced if other people answer for them. I want Elmo to explain his thought process. I don't particularly want you to try to explain it to me for him.

who is mafia Jami
I think it's Brainbomb, possibly also Moscowfleet. I'm increasingly suspicious of CrimsonFox, and I'm sure one of the lurkers is going to be scum too. Maybe Peterlund or maybe Foodcoats / Dargorygel. I also need to take a look at RagingIke, he seemed pissed off he was unable to get me mislynched.
Woah there jimjambles, where do I seem pissed? I'm a little let down that I'm getting no pressure even though I made it super easy and no responses to some of my actions

I don’t know why you interpreted my thoughts as answering for him. I implied my reaction to his post and how it differed than yours - and asked you why you dismiss my view in favor of yours. None of this is answering for him, but whatever

Does anyone besides Rdrivera think that analysing the vote is AI? Because, really, isn't that a lot more helpful than random Meta guesses?

Wtf, it deleted my comment.

Ok I'll try again:

It bothers me that we've now had two people, who were on NDs wagon, expressing surprise that ND was lynched.

First CF and now EMC.

@emc42: If you didn't plan on getting ND lynched then why did you vote for him??
Not surprised at the fact that ND was lynched, but at the fact that players followed onto ND (other than thd).

Honestly? I didn't want the responsibility tilting the leading two wagons, which who were tied when I cast the vote iirc.

DIdn't want to vote for Cfox, as several people seemed to be voting him solely due to spam, and his post quality improved from pure spam to spam with visible intent. Also, this has no actual meaning, but it was fun to have someone to interact live with lol.

Thd was simply gone too much/low in posts for me to have an opinion, other than how I found it curious that he was chosen to argue about, out of all the shitposters. In addition, the seemingly panicked vote switching I actually thought made him a bit less suspicious, unless it was faked: If it was, kudos to you thd :D. Timed stress responses are on the difficult side of mimicking, there's a fine line of being not enough and too much, without a consistent personality trait to back it up.

Didn't want to vote for someone without any votes on them, or any with just one vote since they were all inactive players with the exception of RHK--it would be just too random for me to rationalize later, and it wouldn't do anything.

Moved off of Ezio, as there was no point staying there either, same logic as above.

This leaves just flash and ND as possible players for me to vote, in the middle. I chose ND since he didn't even attempt to pretend he was being serious, and his name stuck in my mind more since he was mentioned earlier. I was still expecting thd to be lynched, but for his vote off of Cfox also seemed like good enough motivation at the time, refer to last sentence of top paragraph.

My boys ( Do Not Touch These ..or ELSE

random order cause why not: Bombadil/Vecna/LQ/Jamie/bomb/Moscow/Fox/

unsorted pile, some feel townie at times, but they're 'not there' yet and things can change: RHK/DT/ghug/Neph/Raging/rivera

poo pile: bozo/flash/damo/e.mc/Ezio/dargoyle/peter/france/xorxes/thamrik
What I find a tad bit strange about this, is that with the exception of me (i'm so special :)), you list is almost exactly ranked by how much people have talked. This seems rather formulaic...
I may be wrong here and I'm on mobile so can't check but this post feels so different to the rest of his. Normally there some weird stream of conscious logic for for doing something but this is standard to the point and useful and it reeks of coaching.

Until further notice emc is moved deeper into the scum pile
Accidentally changed tones as I was reading your posts earlier, my apologies. It's something I try to avoid doing unintentionally.

But on the other hand, I did say earlier that I had responses to just about all the posts in here, just that they weren't posted due to spam issues. Also did mention back then that posting style is something I can easily change. Did you ignore them? xD

You are saying scums won't try to do helpful actions ever to get town credit?

Not a real thought

I just spent 20 minutes typing a long post examining all the stated reasons of ND voters. Then lost phone signal and the post was lost. I'm pissed off.

The summary of my thoughts is that I think ThdFrance was saved, and Elmo looks scummy. I will post this again in detail when I get home.

You specifically called quas by name the post after/same as your Nd vote. See above as to why I'm not quoting it but a quick ISO will give it too you.
Nah, you have the wrong person. Not Quas, Cfox. I said, "ND is less entertaining than Cfox", then voted ND in the next sentence. That was my last post of Day 1.

If you were referring to my response a post beforehand, I said that I hadn't any ideas on who to vote, because no one seemed "towny" or "scummy"

Huh? If you didn't want the responsibility for tilting the leading two wagons, why change your vote???

With a few minutes before EOD and barring any better options, it is the main goal of town to make sure that the vote is not tied so that we don't lose a chance to gain some info. I wasn't that keen on ND, but I liked the thdfrance wagon less and given the two wagons were tied, I had to vote ND. I am not saying ND was a wonderful choice (the case on him was thin), but I am not going to distance myself from the vote as others (like yourself and Crimson) are doing.

Ok, well:

1. Why did you vote for him if you didn't think he was a viable lynch?

2. Emc' s stance troubles me more than yours, Ghuggalo. He's literally saying "oh I voted ND but I didn't want to lynch him, I was gonna move my vote"... that deserves an explanation.
Explanation it is!

"didn't want to lynch him"
Since he seemed casual enough and didn't "feel" suspicious, or weird like Vapor and DT had when they first started interacting with me at that time. He felt just really laid back and probably town or not town and good at changing tone, and I voted to make myself feel like I was doing something without actual responsibility, like the pitiful person I am. A "safe" vote, to word it differently.

As for "going to move the vote later", I went offline (after voting to avoid modkill), since I was going home. I made it back online with 2 minutes left, found that ND had somehow ended up at the top, and found myself unable to move off.

hah xd

This could be just self-important postulating, but I felt like I might've pushed the ND wagon by accident---voted late, and thd moving lead to momentum somehow, and when I got back online more people had switched---wasn't originally going to end with voting him, would've switched to some other random person in the middle of the list, but with a minute left, moving and tying the lynch votes would've been incredibly bad for town, since then we wouldn't get any information at all.
There were 11 minutes left when you voted for ND. Let's remember that.

I changed it since I didn't want to stay on Ezio, now that I was the only person on it. (which was, admittedly, a spur-of-the-moment thing)

What I mean by tilting is that if I voted either of them (which I didn't want to do), it might've influenced how other people voted afterwards--which is completely random since I would've flipped a coin. Because of the tie issue, I'm sure that someone would've moved--there was what, 14 people on?

Wait.

Your vote was on Ezio.

Why did you have to move your vote "to avoid modkill"???

Something smells increasingly fishy here.
