Why?

The only argument you've advanced I can find is that they aren't playing like last game, which rdr already scuttled because they were scum last game.

You've certainly put the right breadcrumbs in your reads to vote rdr and make it look consistent. Is it just intuition? Did rdr pointing out you were reading them the wrong way make no difference to your analysis?

If Item Smith tries to deliver item to NK, what happens to the item?

If the Item Smith delivers item to NK and janitor goes to clean up body after this (in order of operations) does Item Smith learn who the person was too?

What about item thief? If NK has an item, does the killer get it or the item thief? Will the thief learn the identity by showing up before janitor?

If NK gets healed by doctor, does the NK lose their items? Does the doctor get them as payment?

Sorry I didn't see this before, order of operations is this:

Order of Adjudication:

*1* -Roleblocker/Tracker-
The Roleblocker and Tracker achieve Night results simultaneously.
*2* - Mafia Kill, Serial Killer Kill-
Mafia Kill and Serial Killer are performed simultaneously.
*3* -Doctor Heal
Doctor may heal a player.
*4* - Item Thief
Item thief steals an item
*5* - Item Smith
The item smith delivers his item to player of choice.
*6* -Janitor
Janitor may visit a player once per-game. They will clean up a mafia-murder.

If an item smith tries to deliver to the NK, nothing happens
Item smith is not a tracker or a watcher and doesn't know if someone else visits their target
If the night kill has items they go to the killer, just like stones
If NK is healed by the doctor they aren't dead so they don't lose their items.

Scum had to submit the order to Janitor before EON, they did not know who he was then get to pick to janitor or not, so only the janitor knows who EMC was at this point because the mafia QT is closed until N2

I've rushed into placing Neph as town when there was no need to, I was probably influenced by his great cooking skills and forgot how crafty his mafia persona can be

as for rivera, there were a few townie moments, but as with Neph, rivera is a ruthless mafia man
