Well, I am a bit undecided on this 50/50. My first instinct when I saw the night results was to vote Ghug because I was already scumreading him. But Monarch reaction to this is really weird, her focus is solely in self preservation. Not sure it's bad play or scum play.

It screams scum to me. I've never seen town in this position who would ever push to not resolve the 50/50.

Then pushes to end, which is terrible because we want to coordinate our investigator votes.

Then seems to be trying to spread their stink everywhere before they flip Mafia.

Take note of their scum list of ghug, sweetandcool, and heart. Followed by kind words to Jamiet and Will. All those shoutouts are meant to sow distrust or to protect teammates.

I tried to do simple VCA but kept finding that I was assuming both were scum, instead of one at a time. Will need to revisit later with pen and paper

If the vote is going to be Monarch vs. ghug, we have to decide who the VT selection is going to be N3. I think we should hold a vote.

My vote for VT selection is for heart.

This should probably be conditional on which of me and Monarch ends up being scum.

I think the provision for being able to change the VT selection vote before EOD gives everyone a chance to know who is going to be the DK and adjust their VT selection choice accordingly. I think we want to have a clear decision by EOD. If the VT selection vote somehow ties, we can do a quick revote with whoever is online at the beginning of N3, but I suggest everyone try to avoid a tie.

You're voting with Brian, who you just before commented about being a bit sketchy with the redirection of the vote, on damo. There is nothing in both posts where you declare why Brian's sketchyness is not as big of an factor to you compared to damo's low post count at the time.

Damo eating the night kill was extremely obvious. I'm shocked the investigator wasted on him. Guess they wanted to verify darg immediately?

Glad to see my instincts have been 100% so far (that I know of).

Mafia should have realized damo was bluffing and made Town make the WIFOM. We probably would have eaten him D2 or just maybe as late as D3.

This is what I meant by suboptimal. People have been helping scum throughout. We have spent a lot of energy on constructing a good method of investigative use and we'll be lucky to get two scans in.

Have you read his notes in the godthread for other Mafia games? He frequently reads people's alignment, ignoring the fact as Mafia or spectator he would know it.

I am baffled so many people on this website think it is impossible to make alignment reads as Mafia.

Glad Ham went rather than ghug. Glad Ham was Mafia, but disappointed I had it wrong. Glad we are investigating ghug, because it's always nice to know his alignment.
